    Little things we've noticed

It seems like Roosevelt Franklin was used the most reguarly/frequently after Matt Robinson stepped down from his role as Gordon. In the first season, he had three songs, in the second season, he had Roosevelt Franklin Spells His Name, and I can't think of any other real notable appearances he...

    Dealbreaker TV Characters

I don't know. I tend to see the later (and not-so-good) episodes more often than the early (and much better) ones.

    Dealbreaker TV Characters

While I prefer the early years of M*A*S*H over the later years, I do prefer Winchester over Burns. Frank Burns comes off as the kind of boss I would not want to have, or the kind of bossy employee who's not the boss but gets his way too much.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

I was just about to share the link to Dexter's debut! Oh well, here's another guide, Oscar and Bruno hear the story of Snow White. https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_2030 I remember somebody talking about this on the forum (either this one or Toughpigs) a long time ago, saying that...

    Little things we've noticed

I had noticed that Sully appeared a few times in seasons 24-26 but not that many (and as a kid back in 1994, I thought he was being used more), while Biff appeared without him a lot more. But looking at episodic appearances, I was surprised to see that Biff also didn't appear at all in seasons...

    Questions about anything

Today I was watching the Laurel and Hardy short The Music Box, and at the beginning, it says that they put together all of their money - $3.20 - and started a business. With inflation, was this considered a joke back in 1932? It seems humorous that they would spend that much to start a...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

And now that we know there's one with Ernie, I am really hoping that there was one with Bert and the monsters. It would also be amazing to learn if there was one where the characters actually spoke.

    Dreams about Muppets

I dreamt that the Muppets were in National Lampoon's Vacation, along with the Griswalds. It was just Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, and Beaker (maybe also Camilla, maybe also Pepe). And there was some scene on a basketball stadium where Beaker was with a bunch of bald guys with glasses and...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Itzhak Perlman and Oscar in concert: The full "King Banishes the Letter P": I didn't share the links here in case they came from the episodes on HBO Max (even though "what links here" shows that they don't), I don't feel right drawing attention to rare clips in those episodes that fans have...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Recently I've found some rare clips that have surfaced somehow. I've looked at "what links here", and it looks like they're not in any of the HBO Max episodes, but I also haven't seen them posted to Muppet Wiki's Facebook or Twitter (and haven't seen links on the appropriate wiki pages, if the...

    Little things we've noticed

Was looking at the Wally and Ralph page on the wiki to see if they did new material in seasons 4 and 5 (or if they just repeated their bits in those seasons). I realize that the wiki does not yet have guides for all of seasons 4 and 5, but it looks like only two segments aired past season 3...

    Little things we've noticed

I think fans thought Roxy Marie was meant to replace Sully, and I guess I thought she debuted in season 24 instead of 23, but it is interesting they added her while Richard Hunt was still around, but I guess they knew Richard Hunt didn't have much time left and were already preparing. David...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

This sounds like an awesome episode, Uncle Wally makes up a friend similar to Mr. Snuffleupagus, though he's intentionally playing around and trying to fool the others. I wonder if this was the first Wally heard of Snuffleupagus. https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_2014 The wiki also has...

    Little things we've noticed

Probably not meant to be either (the Fat Blue Muppet was often dressed identically to Mr. Johnson in a lot of early sketches, where he's performed by Jim Henson, but people at Muppet Wiki determined that's not supposed to be him). If it was supposed to be Simon Soundman, they'd probably have him...

Sesame Street Season 3 Episode 330 - Fix-It Shop Opens

They were previously able to clear Bill Cosby's appearances for Noggin (not sure if there were clearance issues for Noggin), Old School Volume 1, and some of the iTunes episodes, so probably not clearance issues.

    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

When You Wish Upon a Pickle was supposed to be released on DVD on the same day as the digital release, then was pushed to July 7, so it's still not available? I'm guessing the pandemic led to it being delayed, not sure if that's been the case with other DVDs or not.

    Little things we've noticed

Previously, I was thinking Mark Hamil and Carol Burnett were the only guest stars who appeared as both themselves and a character, with the two presented as two separate characters (as opposed to them playing themselves as a character in a sketch), but now I remember that John Denver appeared as...

    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

Muppet Wiki reports that each song will be accompanied by three different clips, so I don't think any song clips will be truly uncut (though it seems to primarily be recent song videos created for YouTube), so I doubt there'll be any full Elmo the Musical clips (maybe songs from the segments).

    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

A trailer for Monster Hits: Rock and Rhyme with Elmo. It looks like what I expected yet also looks more disappointing (how is that possible?).

    Kermit in Sesame Street merchandise

And yet the other Sesame Street characters got to appear in plenty of commercial products and merchandise with no problem.
