Unless they're name is Bill, in which case the average Bill stands a fair chance at winning.
(Sorry, I know I've said that before, just can't resist)
You missed a "diddle"
*Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, and Maria walk in laughing and saying "diddle."
(Super obsessed fans will know what I just...
I pretty much only know a few common things, like from the Jim Henson: The Works book, but I might as well post them here anyway:
Jim's father, Paul Henson was an agricultural research biologist for the US Department of Agriculture. Around 1946, he got a new job around Hyattsville, MD, near...
Another one I found: I have a pair of small Kermit slippers made for like 4-6 year olds to wear, with Kermit's head on top of the front of each one. I noticed that the heads only have collar points on the front, with none on the back. So when you count them, they come out to 8 collar points...
I'm sure everyone's experienced this: You're having a great day, and you're at a store. Your day gets even better when you see some Kermit merchandise, and you the first thing that comes to your mind to do is count to make sure this depiction of Kermit has the 11 collar points he is supposed to...
Yeah, that won't work too well. How can Walter be divided amongst himself?
But, I'm really hoping NPH will win, for this reason: Everyone keeps saying 'Jim Parsons was the best part of the movie' and it really bugs me. How can some celebrity cameo be the best part of a MUPPET movie? Shouldn't...
Yeah, I kept rewinding it to make sure I was hearing it right. When the pigs are after Wolf and Twitchy, one of them, who has a somewhat Junior Gorgish voice, says something like (I forget the exact wording): "One Wolf and Fwaggle to go!"
I didn't really mind Hop that much. I thought it was pretty good. Especially the wonderful animation in it.
I just watched that one recently, it wasn't too bad, after all, there was a Fraggle Rock reference in it.
No one's said this yet, so I'll say it: Round two voting has begun!
(sighs) Thog lost. I'm happy for Jerry Nelson's voice, though. I hope he continues. Doubt I'm going to launch another campaign unless Thog would be brought back in a resurrection round. The only other character I'd have really...
Sorry for double posting, but I want to post this before I forget it.
I had a dream somehow dealing with the Muppets two nights in a row (which is odd for me). Last night's was about me going to Walmart to rent a movie. (Since when does Walmart have movie rentals?) I picked out a movie, picked...
I'll post more of the story now. I think I'm going to post more of the story every Sunday and every Wednesdayish (It'll probably take me until Thursday sometimes to get around to posting). So stay tuned for more on Wednesday or Thursday. But until then, here is Chapter 2.1:
Chapter 2.1: Rowlf...
Very nice article. Great tribute to the Palisades line. The line is very important to me, as it's one of the things that made me become a Muppet fan, since I became one pretty much the same time Series 1 was released, and was able to get all the regular series figures, playsets, minis, and most...
Yaay! Another vote for Thog!
That's the thing: Everyone loves Neil Patrick Harris. Really, wouldn't surprise me all that much if he'd win the whole thing. (Doubt that's going to happen, but you never know...)
I don't know, I kind of think it's the obssessed fans that are voting for Kermit...
Hmm, that's a tough one. It would probably have to be from the most awesome movie of all time, The Muppet Movie. Bob Hope, Milton Berle, and Steve Martin especially.
After the first time she worked with the Muppets, I quit enjoying her cameos.
The British Correspondent said it best:
Well, I was thinking today, "You know, the one thread we don't have on the forum is the 'What was the last movie you watched thread'" and was about to create one, but I thought I better check to make sure there wasn't one, and sure enough, there is! So if no one minds, I'll bump it up instead...
Haha, I had a dream last night about the forum. First I looked and there were new categories (you know, on the forum list like Muppet Headlines, Muppet Appearances, etc.) that I was really excited about (don't remember what they were, though) Then, I clicked on a thread where D'Snowth was...
Good story, I liked it. The only thing I didn't care for was that the Muppets made Kermit and Piggy unconscious to get them to the broom closet, but I think it worked well in this story. Hope to see more stories by you! Great job!
