See, this is the type thing I was worried about when Disney bought the Muppets. Don't get me wrong here, the Muppets have come a long, long way with Disney, but it seems to me the Muppets don't belong with a big company. They need a small company that doesn't care about losing the extra buck by...
It keeps happening to me lately. I think to myself 'I'm lost' and myself immediately thinks 'Have you tried Hare Krishna.' It's beginning to get really weird.
Yep. That's the problem with anyone in the entertainment business these days. Their priority list's first 16 bullets say the same thing: Money. Really, they'll do anything to get it. And I mean anything! No one cares anymore about making healthy entertainment. Instead they just put on whatever...
Extremely underrated: Muppet Treasure Island. Really, people don't like this movie all that much for some reason. True, it's not super Muppety, but when you really look at it, there's a ton of good lines and jokes and songs. The Muppets (unlike with MCC) really were able to Muppetize the book...
As you probably all know, May 16 will be the 22nd anniversary of Jim Henson's passing. So in honor of this, on May 16 I think we should create a Jim Henson tribute thread, working towards the goal that everyone posts something for the day. Think, if every user posts a poem or a story or a video...
A song I can't stand, I really don't have any idea what it's called. I'm assuming it's called "It's a Good Life" or something to that effect. It has a lot of oooooooooooooing in it. Don't know much about it, I hear it frequently on the radio and in stores. I absolutely cannot stand that song!
I better start locking my turtle in a safe, now. That will be hard to do, however, since I don't have a turtle.
But now, after this, instead of saying "Hold on to your hats," we can say "Hold on to your turtles." I should make that my catchphrase. :)
Yeah, it was weird how I accidentally stumbled into them, too. I was going to see if Walmart had any Muppet shirts (they've had a few before occasionally), and walked past the sleep pants and saw them. Good timing too, cause they were the last pair left. :halo:
Beauregard. No contest. You might as well lock this thread. Everyone will say Beau.
I do really like George, however, but considering Beau is my favorite Muppet, I'll have to choose him. In face, if Beauregard (the MC user) didn't occupy it, Beauregard would be probably my username.
You're welcome! I didn't know I could benefit someone by noticing something. Interesting...
BTW, that like on my post had to have been like the fastest like in MC history. I barely even hit the post button before you liked it.
Also, I just noticed this, doesn't BTW seem like it should be a...
