I have a feeling that it eventually will happen. As soon as Disney realizes they need to find other things to devote their time to than all these weird teen shows that no one watches.
And it's mostly stumbling into things. Most of the stores don't regularly carry Muppet items, so it's more your in a store, and you find a Muppet shirt or something. Even when you know what you're looking for it takes a bunch of stores to finally find it. Department stores sometimes carry Muppet...
No way. No. I will send JHC an angry complaint letter if that happens.
But, I don't think it would work. The characters are supposed to maintain their age. We don't even know how old they are now. And like Collgoff said, I think it would confuse people.
We should do public service announcements for turtle smuggling too.
HUBERT: I'm Hubert, Muppet Central's resident blundering idiot. And I'm telling you to hold onto your turtles!
*bandit walks in, holding a turtle*
HUBERT: Ya see, there's some Japanese turtle smuggling bandit-
BANDIT...
Yes, comedy is very difficult. Writers have to figure out how to best write the joke, then the performer has to execute it properly. I've found that the idea in comedy is not to think too much about it. The more you let your senses give you the perfect joke, the better off you'll be.

But yeah, I'm cracking "Bare left, right...
I laughed most at part of the title: Turtle Smuggling Case. It just sounds kind of funny that there would be a turtle smuggling case.
But I do feel bad for those poor turtles. Remember everyone, hold onto your turtles!
I always thought it would be neat to have a pet turtle. Someone I know...
Oh yes, of course. For me, I prefer pun-related comedy.
I know most people laugh at things characters (including Muppets) do on screen, how they act in the background and stuff. But for me, I don't really laugh at the stuff they're doing, I laugh at the jokes and puns they make. It's the same...
Hmm, I can't think of a joke for one word replies, so, umm...
I just noticed that the Newsman is holding his nose in your avatar. Does my avatar smell that bad?
Hmm, give me a moment...
No, not really, just a few body organs, my supper, some bones, some muscles, you know, that kind of stuff...
Or were you referencing my avatar?
