Episode 2953 most definitely is the one where Telly broke Luis's vase. Not everything on Muppet Wiki is correct. And all of the reruns from Season 21 (1989-90) in Season 23 were episodes 2891-2905, and 2916-2920.

I just found something else out about Season 38. There WILL be a new theme. But the question is: Will it still show the episode number?

They didn't really do a lot of #1 sketches in the '70s and '80s. I don't think they had too many episodes sponsored by the number 1 until about 1988 or so. I think they figured that kids didn't really need to learn about the number 1, and it was so simple, it didn't really need to be taught.
