That's interesting...
I really like that you are bringing this up, I think this is a great thread topic. It just continues to amaze me how a bunch of people we never even met could be our best friends of sorts. It's amazing what these people did for us, and how they connected to us through their work in such a unique...
And in Hubertland...don't forget Hubertland... :p
But seriously speaking, it's because that it does show a sense of unproffesionalism. Cursing is a bit offensive, and doesn't contribute much to a friendly environment. There are much better ways to manage anger than cursing.
I didn't think that Jack Burns got fired...he was season one's head writer, but then Jerry Juhl took over. However I think he was still part of the writing staff.

Hubert: C'mon, Beau! Take a rest for once! It is Labor Day, after all...
Beau: Doesn't that mean I'm supposed to work?
I just didn't like how staged it looked. To me, the whole acting and stuff in that little snippet was so terrible that it looked as if Gary and Mary had planned that ahead of time.
And plus, to me it seems like "Mahna Mahna" is a negative phrase...
Hubert: Happy Labor Day, guys!
Bobo: Today's Labor Day? Oh, I forgot to buy you a present...
Hubert: Er...two things.
Bobo: Huh?
Hubert: 1. You don't get people presents for labor day. 2. I don't even have a job.
It just came on at 11:30 here...and right now I'm watching Daniel go to the doctor. I'm a tiny bit disappointed that they didn't have a Doctor Bill be the doctor, but naming the doctor Anna was still a nice little reference.
That's what I'm wondering...I just wonder if it could be some sort of danger? Or maybe, it's some sort of trap...that leads to something?
Or worse...could its presence have some kind of effect on me?
