Heehee that was good. And I think it's nice how they used the original song and didn't try and make a rock remake of it, cause, I'm sorry, but those usually end up perdy bad. Not all the time, but mostly.
Well my dad says the song was from an old asprin commercial with Jim Henson...I don't know...
Try reading that "The Wisdom of Big Bird" book. Not only is it rully cool, it talks a lot about how Big bird works, including some mishaps (i.e. a stage light crashing next to him and catching on fire, and a brave stagehand had to stomp the fire out cause Carroll wouldn't be able to get out fast...
I agree, Muppet Central is by far the best.
After the opening of Muppets.com, you know, I was kind of upset. Nice games and stuff, entertaining yes, but not very...useful per se. The old one was better, in my opinion. ;)
Oh, and rhuntfan is good too.
The pink whatnots were Frank Oz. Both. I think that makes it even more amazing, cause, you know, the Mahna Mahna puppet ran through betewen them a number of times, and I believe Frank, if he's like most people, has got a little something between the arms some like to call a "self". So that's...
Personally, my favorite part of puppets right now is lip synching to real songs. Anyone else here like to do that? What are some of your favorite songs to lip synch to? Do you have any techniques? Come. Share. Learn. ;)
That's an AWESOME idea. Maybe, if possible, they could even be designing their own Muppet show, like choosing sketches, allowing you to design and script certain sketches, choosing musical numbers and, like, choreographing them. And creating a guest star or other Muppet characters. I know...
I rully don't know if this has been asked before, cause it seems kind of like a question someone would think of, but does anyone know where I can find a puppetman clip on the internet? It'd be cool to see the Muppeteers in human form. I tried the link on rhuntfan but it didn't work. Maybe that's...
You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if when you read this list and saw "You can understand what Beaker's saying" you looked in a panic on every website for a Beaker translator before realizing how in heck would they be able to make one of those. Yes, me. Sigh.
My friends do too. Cause they mix it up with Sesame Street. Not that that's not a bad show, it's just they think it's for toddlers. But I explain to them "Muppets are for Adults /and/ Children" as we all have. Do they listen? Not really. But I'm not complaining. Well, yes I am. But not anymore...
Whoa! Two thirteen year old Muppet fans on the same website! That's practically impossible! I didn't know /any/ thirteen year old obsessed Muppet fans, but now I know...ONE! WOO! Nice to meet you. :)
I love the "To Morrow" song with the three Muppet replicas of Jim Henosn, Frank Oz, and Jerry Nelson. That, and when the two Muppets were singing to Florence Henderson in "Happy Together". :) Ooh, and all the Swedish Chef sketches. Can't think of one I didn't like.
