I saw it. It's pretty good. It's a little different from the original. Steve Martin, of course, can't live up to Peter Sellers, but he did a pretty dang good job. :D
I kind of agree, but let's keep Sesame Street on, cause it seems to be helping kids. Otherwise, yeah, Muppets should probably retire unless someone with a rully good vision takes over.
Hey, I have Verizon too. How'd you get Rainbow connection? Which ringtone package did you get? I've been lookin all over for it. I'll go check again. *Hustles off*
This is a tiny little bit of a digression, but does anybody remember the series Bananas in Pajamas? I only saw it a couple times, but when I saw the name of this it totally jogged my memory. They were full body puppets of bananas, except they wore pajamas. It was almost /too/ brilliant. ;)
I'm not professional with this topic, but what I usually do is use a boom or the voices from the camcorder, as long as they're clear. If I am doing lip synching, though, I let my laptop play the song while I perform so it can be heard softly on the camcorder, then I put it the finished...
The Muppets used to be kind of rebellious in some way. Like, testing the boundries of night adult television using puppets. Not in any controversial matter, just in a new way. But now they seem like they are just used as commercial, talking props, or teen appeal. Seems like the spirit has almost...
Oy. I just read that thing. They are SO evil. I didn't think Whose line fans could be that...mean. *Shudders* I'm sooo sorry they did that to you. You totally don't deserve it.
Mmm...tough. Still don't remember quite how I did...I started by watching those sing a long muppet videos every night when I was 4 or 5...then I kind of got out of it, but I got back into it in 5th grade when my mom brought those three episode discs. My first was the Harry Belafonte one and then...
Maybe they should make, like, a gimundo Muppet documentary with all the stuff in it. Not with, like, people that pretend to be the Muppeteers and have this big drama thing or whatever, cause I've seen that with other things and it's just turned out crappy. But maybe they take all the...
Well, this isn't my memory, but my two year old neighbor is completely freaked out by the fraggles and the gorgs from those little commercials that they put in the front of the other Henson videos. He had a bad dream once, and will literally run out of the room screaming, with his hands over his...
Meepborkmeep wishes to talk like meepborkmeeps username, only nobody would understand meepborkmeep unless meepborkmeep put translations under meepborkmeep's message.
Meep Meep Meep Meep- See? meepborkmeep told you.
MeepBorkMeep thinks that if everyone talked like Elmo, the world would be a much happier place. MeepBorkMeep will talk like this too. Even though MeepBorkMeep thinks it doesn't make sense in MeepBorkMeep's case.
Yup. I write it cause Janice talks like that. :flirt: I say "yer" too, cause Janice says Fer Sure, and I guess the whole way of talking rubbed off on me in other cases.
If you don't mind me asking one more question, did you do the ants voice, too? It sounds rully professional. How'd you do a voice like that? How'd you learn? I'm sorry, I'm asking too many questions.
I thought this wasn't rully proffessional enough to put on the Puppetry forum, and I was just wondering, do you ever worry that if you puppeteer all the time with the same arm...that that arm will become insanely stronger than the other? Sounds odd, I know, but it's been pestering me for a bit...
