I don't think he minded it being televised. He did say he wanted a small service, maybe a few songs, but they made clear at the funeral that that DEFINITELY did not happen. The only thing keeping DVD viewers from going was age or location. So basically I think he's cool with it.
Have you tried fanmail.biz? You hafta know the names of the actors, and it goes by last name, and it takes a while to search, but the addresses are recent and correct.
Er, you'll definitely need tissues. I didn't cry when I saw it, except when I saw the clip of Big Bird singing it's not easy being green. But I got really, really close when Frank Oz started crying after his speech. And when Louise sang. And when Dave sang I'm Going To Go Back There Someday. But...
Wow I LOVE your painting. Your Kermit is completely amazing, and your Jim is beautiful. Great job.
I'm planning to wear all green (think Steve Whitmire at Jim's funeral), tell everyone about the day, and turn in my puppet project at school. But I also plan to wear a question mark, in honor of...
All right, well I finished the funeral. He made a sweet little speech about how we shouldn't be too sad about Jim's passing because his spirit was still with us or something sad like that.
And he was helping out to get everyone's lines and stuff when they all sing Jim's favorite songs. And he...
I just got the funeral. It's amazing. Frank Oz and Michael Frith had hysterical speeches, but a couple people stopped in the middle to cry, and that was almost traumatic. Louise sang and it was rully pretty. But no one ever applauded, which made it kind of awkward. I know you're not supposed to...
Ooh. Well, thanks. I'll try that, it sounds like it'll be useful. Thanks. :)
Oh, btw, I just got the funeral dvd. I only saw about half so far because the darn thing was scratched and I finally got fed up for now, but Richard introduced the whole thing. It was nice. He looked really healthy...
MBM: Me too. *Pulls out kazoo and plays almost annoying harmony* *Sets kazoo down* By the way, I posted my picture of Richard up. The shading got a little darkened when I scanned it, and all my friends at school thought it was Elvis, but I think it's decent. Here's the link...
Kay. I saved the picture in word, cause that's the only thing that makes it look decent on this frickin computer. Do I send it to your email or what? I'm kinda new at this.
MBM: You should be. She usually doesn't make such awesome nicknames.
Actually, if anybody has access to, like, deviantart or something, could I send you the attachment of my picture and you could post it up for just a teeny while? I have a site, but it stretches the pictures and I don't think...
I loved em. Yes, I did notice that tooth gap thing. I mentioned it to my friend, because I talk about him all the time and she just calls him "tooth gap man" for some reason, and she said he probably got braces. I told her that was impossible at such a late age, but now I'm starting to be...
He seems an odd shade of green. Like, neon green. But otherwise, that's neat, thanks for pointing it out.
I have a kermit puppet, but it's ripped a bit in the back, because I cut it from my kermit doll, removed the stuffing and the wires, and my hand didn't fit through the collar. So I had to...
