You know, I've been looking for that. Is there any particular sketch in that episode? I half watched the whole thing and I couldn't find it. Daresay I was only paying a quarter attention as I half-watched the whole thing (What?) but I couldn't find it. I thought I heard something when Fozzie and...
Let me know how Sesame Place is!
I'm helping to teach kids how to act, then I'm going to acting camp, then I'm sleeeeeping. I will be forced to clean the basement, but maybe I can write a novel in between. That's about it. I'll just be glad school's done.
MBM: Jim, that's gross.
Jim: *laughs* What can I say?
Kermit: Gosh, Jim, I asked for the news, not the weather.
Scooter: Wow, RL, you're doll is absolutely handsome.
Richard: Yes, the resemblance is uncanny.
Nor does he look like a bad dream.
That's a really good idea doctort13. I think the older kids who watch Sesame Street would see the obvious ploy if they made a main character suddenly change to be vegetable-obsessed, but if they choose a B character like him, it would be perfect.
I had a Muppet obsessed after school counselor who said they were changing him to Vegetable monster too. Odd. But clearly they never went through with it. Though, I did read in a Sesame Street magazine (Um, that just happened to fall open) that Cookie Monster was now making healthier choices...
I agree with everything else ya said, Tim, cept this part. I don't know if you were implying this, but there are many members born after the Good Muppet Era that think the best standard is the earliest Muppet stuff, and not the new crud they're pouring out, including myself. But I do agree with...
Today, I have "Keep It Gay" from the new Producers. Specifically the "People want laughter when they see a show, the last thing they're after's ellitany (sp?) or woe, a happy ending is not hard to play, Oedipus won't bomb, if he winds up with mom..." and then it repeats. It's gettin rather annoying.
It's on the internet. You could always just cut out the articles, paste it to some old newspaper, make some Sweetums feet, and read...but that might be a little...pointless.
I just got back from it. That thing is fricking awesome. Small, though, they put it all in this little alcove, and there were like thirty people all crammed in there. But it was sooo worth it. I'll put some pictures up when they get developed if ya guys want.
I love his books, especially Pleasure Of My Company and Pure Drivel. And those came out pretty recently, so he's still got it. But I agree, Cheaper by the Dozen is very, very bad as far as comedy movies go. Pink Panther was all right. I mean, he'll never fill Peter Sellers' shoes, but that movie...
Oh, I used that paper for my school project. That paper's actually pretty cool. The stories are nice and short and easy to understand, but still basically interesting. He's got good taste.
I have a paper to do, and I was wondering what the different aspects of Labyrinth symbolized. I mean, I get that the movie is about a girl growing up, but what does Jared, the labyrinth itself, and the world around it symbolize? Does anyone have any theories about the symbolism in Labyrinth...
I also miss the Swedish Chef, man. I mean, I know they still use him and stuff, and I guess he's best used not as a main character, more of a comic relief device, but I think he should be a little more frequently.
