    Dreams about Muppets...

I dreamed that Animal was annoying me so much, I tied his arms in a knot. :halo:

    Dreams about Muppets...

My dream was more of a Sesame Street dream. In it, some friends and I met the Queen of Six. And, just because I love this film so much, here she is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDgppc3Sig

    Presenting the...!

Please, PLEASE, can someone help me with this one? I’ve been racking my brains trying to remember what happened in these little fillers! You may recall that sometimes between segments, the screen would go from completely black to some other color in a delightfully ridiculous way, like in this...

Fan Poll: Favorite Sesame Street Christmas Production

Lucky you. Bob was one of my favorite adults on Sesame Street. Such a sweet man, with a sweet voice. And you got to meet him. I’m green with envy. :)

Fan Poll: Favorite Muppet Christmas Production

A Muppet Family Christmas wins, hands down! I love that Fozzie's mother cancels her vacation plans and spends Christmas with Fozzie and his friends when they just show up at her door. We don't get to see nearly enough of Emily Bear. What a honey!

Fan Poll: Favorite Sesame Street Christmas Production

Christmas Eve on Sesame Street is one of my most favorite specials! :) How many kids have worried about how Santa Claus gets down skinny little chimneys, or into homes with no chimneys? And I love Bob's advice to get me through the post-Christmas letdown: "Think of this Christmas day when...

List of potential "very special guest stars" if the Muppet Show were to return...

Ellen DeGeneres and "Weird Al" Yankovic are definitely my top two choices. Other performers I'd like to have seen are Loreena McKennitt and Enya, and maybe Celtic Woman.

    Favorite Kermit Song

My favorite is "The Rainbow Connection," but not just because of the inspiring music and lyrics, nor even the feeling that Kermit puts into it. I also love it because, shortly afterward, comes the part of The Muppet Movie where he is inspired to make "millions of people happy." Every time I hear...

    Alphabet chants

Back in the 90's, Sesame Street had a series of segments that Muppet Wiki described as "chants" and "Gregorian." Each one would show a letter of the alphabet (capital, then lowercase, then both) against a background that looked like an ancient piece of art—a tapestry, for instance. As the...

Scooter Appreciation Thread For The Most Underappraciated, Disrespected Muppet of Ever

People hate Scooter? What's there to hate? He's friendly. He's helpful. He lets the guest star know when the show's about to start. (The cold openings with him, in Seasons Two through Four, were some of my favorite moments on the Muppet Show.) Plus, in the Lynn Redgrave episode, when...

A Gift Exchange with the Muppets

Well, here it is the first of December, so I thought I'd start this thread: Suppose you and the Muppets were having one of those "Secret Santa" gift exchanges? What do you think a Muppet who drew your name might give you? And what if you drew a certain Muppet's name—what might you give? I think...

What song can you not get out of your head?

The "Ugly" song, from the Milton Berle episode of The Muppet Show. I keep finding myself about to sing it out loud, but I just know that if I do, someone will give me a "who are you calling ugly?" look. ;)

    Dreams about Muppets...

Last night, I dreamed about Christmas cards with drawings of Monty on them. The inside of one showed Monty and an elephant with a Christmas wreath. Now, if only I could remember what those cards said! Knowing Monty, I'm sure it was something ridiculous.

What is your favorite Muppet Show Sketch

I could never choose one favorite, but I love "I'm Just Wild About Harry."

    The corny joke thread

What did Ernie say when Bert asked if he wanted ice cream? "Sherbet!" (If you don't get it, say it out loud!)

What's the most FUN episode of The Muppet Show?

At the end of the Ben Vereen episode: Statler: Fantastic show! Waldorf: Brilliant show...by the way, your pants are on fire.

What's the most FUN episode of The Muppet Show?

LOL! That makes at least two episodes where someone says, "Your pants are on fire."

What's the most FUN episode of The Muppet Show?

Rowlf: I have changed my mind. I am not taking out the appendix. Piggy: What are you taking out? Rowlf: The blonde on the end.

What's the most FUN episode of The Muppet Show?

I love the James Coco episode—how Coco thinks the show needs "razzle dazzle" and decides to liven it up. So then the Swedish Chef is interrupted by Spanish dancers, and Dr. Bob is "razzle dazzled" by a line of chorus girls!

    Any Big Mean Carl fans?

I'm surprised he didn't eat those pumpkins after smashing them! But maybe he doesn't like produce.
