I am preparing to receive your tomatoes over this.
I saw the first Batman movie (1989) in the USA. When I returned to Canada, I went to see it again. I was certain I must have missed something. I hadn't. No offence to fans of this! It was a very honest try. I thought it was stilted. Maybe for...
My family has been directly targeted by PETA. Not nice.
I knew someone once who was a white supremacist, and who thought it would be good to divide the USA in half, with all the white people living on one side. Aside from that, he was like everyone else. Being run into by PETA and their...
I also like Green Lantern: his power is very special. I had to think to find my favourite characters among so many:
DC: Chameleon Lad from the Legion of Super Heroes. Growing up, his character seemed so real or authentic to me, somehow. I guess also I was fascinated by change. He seemed so...
Thought you might enjoy this brilliant, young Israeli photographer, Yigal Feliks -

Mainstream Comic Book Industry
Do you think there is a connection between the situation in the toy industry and the shape of things at DC/Marvel?
I am a long-time fan of both, and have witnessed who knows how many DC explosions, Marvel implosions and I certainly am rooting for both, but...
Happy Count with a straw hat on listening to Dottie West
Not for the lyrics but for the song, I think the Count would like
Country Sunshine...this is some fairly serious country music, it may not be for everyone....

Little Anthony and the Imperials
In a quieter mood, I can certainly imagine the Count listening to Hurt So Bad

I can even picture him hanging out with them. He is a big-hearted count.
Let Her Dance / The Count, Ever-Fresh, Ever-Cool, Ever-Joyful
I thought about this, it is a great idea. Then I thought of this song...I don't know the Count personally, but I think he would jump in on this pretty quickly:
Although it has no counting (I think!) it has plenty to make the Count...
Early episodes of Sesame Street. Kermit was dialoguing with a child, and the child would spontaneously hug Kermit. You could tell this also affected Jim Henson. It went beyond what he had hoped for, or tried for.
Monsieur Bonhomme
from mr3urious:
That is why Bonhomme Carnaval is so important to our well-being.

"I also worry some that there may be a level of subversive humor in there that I don't care for- but I trust things will be kept clean and smooth (rather than edgy because I really get tired of that word to describe the Muppets all the time). Yes, the Muppets will have their...

The simpler, the better.
The plot reminds me of the Blues Brothers Movie, where they had to re-assemble the band. That was a pretty good movie, eh?
A plot such as that might be just the ticket. The simpler, the better, maybe. More room to play. :)
