    Forgotton Muppets.

Hilda (and Eren) were great. They are sorely missed. I never thought about the Secret Life of Toys cast. Dave seemed to enjoy performing Rugby. Too bad there isn't really a way to bring that set of characters back.

    Designing Muppet World

Jim liked masquerade balls. That would be a great addition to the park. I'm envisioning a life-size model of the Hispaniola from Muppet Treasure Island floating in a dock, where you can go inside the ship and see animatronic characters from the movie. On the deck, they would regularly hold...

    Disney DVD

Disney has enough money to have their own brand of ANYTHING. They could come out with Disney Herbs & Spices next month for all we know! (But c'mon...you know you want to add a dash of Mickey Mouse Nutmeg to your next dish.) ;)

    Ringing in the Ears

A Japanese old wives' tale states that if you sneeze, someone, somewhere is thinking of you. So I wonder what it would mean if your ears suddenly turned red, starting ringing, and then you sneezed. You might have a stalker.

predubbed voices for the dark crystal

You know, I've been thinking about this for a while myself. I've always supposed Kathy's Kira sounded a lot like Mokey or Apple (from The Christmas Toy), but I could never figure out what Jim's Jen would sound like. He never did many child/adolescent characters. Harvey (from Emmet Otter) is the...

First Muppet movie you saw in the theater?

Awww... *pats* :sympathy: Deepest sympathies and condolences, Sylinde. (I wish they'd re-screen some of the Muppet movies. I would totally go.)

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

It never really lived up to its predecessors, but I'd say it's worth having. There are some pretty funny parts, and stuff like the rats in the kitchen and the Muppets as babies are, in my opinion, too good to pass up. (And don't forget Rizzo's cinematic debut as more than a background character!)

    human arm puppet pattern

Sounds similar to the method I use with my makeshift live-hands: I pull a long-sleeved shirt over the puppet's head so he's wearing it, then I stick my arm up through the shirt's bottom opening and the left sleeve, then add an appropriately-colored glove if needed. A somewhat limited range of...

    New puppet:Gramps and God

Sounds great! Glad it worked out. :)

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Now, this is just an opinion, but I LOVE the MFS commentary. Dave's and Steve's performing chemistry and zany humor really shine through. In fact, every time I watch the movie I put the commentary on because it cracks me up. So yes, it's very funny. ;) The MTM DVD also has some nice bonus...

Thanks for the tips. I guess if I can't dye the hair, I can get a wig from a party store. :smirk:

First Muppet movie you saw in the theater?

It's such a great thing when Muppet stuff makes one cry. (I cried the first time I saw MuppetVision 3-D.)

    Puppet in Progress

I put up another photo--his basic body structure is now coming together. Does that look like a good location for the arms? My previous two questions still stand as well.

    Enter The Haggis

Actually it's a Scottish sausage made with vegetables, meat, and oatmeal, cooked inside of a sheep stomach. I'd like to try it some day. :)

    New puppet:Gramps and God

I like the beady eyes best, they give him sort of a wizened, kindly look, and also make him look extremely similar to the Country Trio ( http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Country_Trio ), which is big bonus points in my book. :excited:
