So, I'm the only one who loves the 70's incarnation of the Electric Mayhem and thinks they should stay that way as a tribute to all things groovy? :sing:
But yeah, I agree, I love that band and wish they'd get more love, as long as they're not "updated" to fit today's culture (because let's...
Wal-Mart, eh? I haven't called there yet.
Does anyone know why they're shipping in such limited quantities? Do they really think not many people are going to buy them, or are they just trying to create more demand? :concern:
My dad hates buying stuff online, so I'd rather find a real-life location that sells it if I can. :smirk:
And I would have thought that maybe the stores were sold out, but the guy never said anything about it, just that they don't have it and wouldn't until October.
I'm serious. I live in the Los Angeles area and no store in my valley carries it. I've checked Best Buy, Target, all of those places, nothing. The guy at Best Buy even said it wasn't coming out until October 21st. :concern:
Obviously, something is seriously wrong here.

The whole thing is genius, really. I love the tone of the film, how it manages to be this grand epic adventure with a soaring soundtrack and plenty of drama and swordplay, and at the same time you've got a bear with a man living in his finger. Pure genius. I think some of my favorite parts are...
A nose pattern would be a GREAT help, I'm really looking forward to that (and at the rate my puppetbuilding is going, I'm not going to need it until it comes out...).
Labyrinth on Ice... *cracks up*
Actually, a stage adaption wouldn't really be that hard if puppets were heavily involved (just like the movie, really). And if all else fails, they could go for the artsy-representational look, like the stage adaption of The Lion King.
I'm not sure what happened to Mumford, but here's what happened to the others.
Don Music - Was canned when it was decided that his banging his head on his piano might encourage kids to do the same.
Guy Smiley - Retired when Jim passed away, although Eric Jacobson has performed him a few times...
