Hey guys,
I put some new finger puppets in my shop. I'm sick, so that's about all I'm making right now.
Forgive the pictures. I took them from my bed against a white box-lid. Ultimate laziness (or fanciness) has set in. Better than the instagram pictures that were there, right?
Also...
So I made 3 new puppets for a gallery show in November-December & I got them all back & they're in my newly-reopened Etsy shop. Hooray!

I got to play around with one that Unraku has & it was pretty fun to work with. lots of personality built right in. And they're not at all pricey. For a handmade, easy-to-use puppet with lots of expression, they're a steal!
well, if you think about it, they're all different sizes. Kermit's head was the size of Jim's hand. Fozzie's head is obviously a lot bigger. Prairie Dawn is tiny, Zoe was Elmo's size, and is now apparently little (or at least was for a time). It honestly just depends on what type of...
Don't forget that the Puppetry Store (through Puppeteers of America) also sells it! & I don't believe you pay shipping if you're in the US.

Hey guys,
Ok so the "secret project" we were working on came out earlier than expected. It's going to air on youtube in 3 parts. New ones come out on Thursdays.
Hope you enjoy!

I don't actually edit anything, I'm just a co-director & puppeteer. The project is produced by Pulp Gamer Media, and they have 2 full-time employees who edit & record various projects. When we're filming, I think I've maybe heard them curse Adobe's name a few times?
Sorry I couldn't be of...
Hey my character just got her own official segment! (I'm particularly proud of the tiny mug with the logo)
rymoore, by all means, feel free to message me here. I'd be glad to answer any questions that I can about the project.
I'm a puppeteer. I build & perform shows & do workshops at libraries and summer theater camps. It's not quite as easy as going into an office, and not always as lucrative, but I'm happy. :)
Thanks Rymoore! There are new ones posted every Thursday. We worked on a really fun secret project last month that I'm *really* excited about. Just saw the rough cut. Not sure when it's going to air, but I hope it's soon!
Hey guys,
So I've been working on a project for awhile now as a co-director. They finally had me build my own character & we did a few little short videos with her while the other characters were "on vacation"
Anyway, I figured I'd share them. My video skills still aren't where I'd like...
Not sure if people knew that the Puppetry Store through Puppeteers of America now sells Antron fleece.

I do a back-stitch. I think it's stronger. Whip stitches can lead to the "tension" being off when you're hand sewing & too many seams showing.
If I'm sewing something over the top of something else (or right side out), I use a ladder stitch.
Mostly I use my machine. because I'm lazy.
