Well, formats change based on research and what the educational goals are, but what really concerns me is the small number of episodes and the small use of the human cast (two or three per episode max, for the most part). This seems like mostly a funding issue, and I wonder if there is any way...
This is a really nice idea. The mini-Kermit is one of my favorites, so I'll be looking forward to such a nice larger version as well. And now I won't have to loan Kermit my Jim Henson figure's banjo--they can have a duet!
Garden State is a comedy, a drama, a romance, etc. Many critics compare it to The Graduate, which makes some sense. It's about a young man coming to grips with himself and the circumstances of his life in the wake of his mother's funeral. Lest that sound like too much of a downer, it's a...
Ooh, Garden State is a lovely lovely film. I'm looking forward to watching it again. Both leads are terrific, and it's so impressive to me that Zach Braff also wrote and directed it.
Pretty good--how you doin? Napoleon Dynamite really is an underdog movie. Very very under. Stay until the end of the credits as well, because it's worth it...
Hilarious movie. We really liked it the first time, and the second was even funnier. It probably does depend upon your sense of humor, but if you can laugh at oddness and awkwardness, you'll probably enjoy it.
I really hope the Spaceballs sequel is a real thing. I heard about this earlier this year, and (coincidentally) I was just talking about it with a friend this evening. Long Live Dark Helmet!
Yeah--"Life's Incredible Again" is one of my favorites on the album. Short and sweet. I love the montage that went with it as well. Man, that whole movie was brilliant. I hope it gets some recognition come Oscar time. :grouchy:
Well, I've only read the first one, which I liked pretty well, but I haven't kept up with the rest. I know that the movie is based on the first three, so I assume a lot of material is cut or condensed. Still, I liked it. What you have to be okay with to enjoy it is Jim Carrey playing an...
Yeah, the score is fantastic. I bought it too--such a classy retro affair. I hoped, when I heard them use the theme from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in the original trailer, that the score would be Bond-esque, and it is. What a great way to add style and atmosphere to an already...
I liked Phantom too, but in a number of places it made me wish I had seen it on stage first. The whole thing is so theatrical, and I would have liked a (non-movie) theater to go with it. Still, though, definitely worth seeing.
I've also seen Lemony Snicket, Meet the Fockers, and the...
Oh rats... I missed it. I always like the Tournament of Roses parade, too, but I spaced on it this year. Oh well, at least I have the Disney Christmas parade on my Tivo to look forward to.
