I'm posting this link in a couple of relevant topics. I hope that's okay! Anyway, I made this Futurama video this weekend. It's got some muppety/puppety goodness as well. Hope you enjoy!

Because I can't get that song "Friday" out of my head (I blame my high school students), I had to make this parody video. Enjoy! (It does feature a rapping chicken puppet).

Merry Christmas, all! Here's to next Christmas as well, when (with luck) we'll all be here raving about how good our fifth viewing of the new Muppet movie was! :)
I believe I quote the great Dr. Henry Jones Jr.: "It belongs in a museum!"
Awesome to see these pictures! I so love Amy Adams and Jason Segel, and I'm ecstatic that they're in with the Muppets. The only difficulty is going to be seeing these spy pics for a year and not being able to see...
Well, G is different than it used to be, too. Especially with the advent of PG-13. The "scary moments" and some of the guns / shooting in the earlier movies would probably have them flirting with a PG too.
If anyone has to be a "celebrity voice" for a Muppet, bring on Paul Rudd! I love that man! He's never not funny, at least to me. He and Jason Segel had such terrific chemistry in "I Love You, Man," that I think this is a great choice. :) Great pics, too, by the way.
Definitely excited to see this picture. Just the sense of fun in it is encouraging!
I like the idea of Walter being a human character's pal and roommate. I always wanted to see Muppets guest star on traditional sitcoms (like Friends) in the same way that humans guest starred on the Muppet...
I freaked out for a second when I read the last post and thought it had something to do with Michael Bay directing a Muppet movie. Now THAT would be . . . well . . . something.
In related news, a recent news story suggests that Zach Galifianakis is cameoing the new Muppet movie, according to...
You know, I forgot about that, but that always gets me too! I've got such a deep affection for those characters. They've been my friends practically since birth! So yeah--when they all arrive ready to celebrate Christmas with the gang, I get a little misty too!
Stylistically, I don't think "motion comics" are really for me. But whatever. More Muppet presence is always a good thing, especially leading up the movie.
I LOVED Super Grover 2.0! I love how the costume is still reminiscent of the original costume, yet also more modern and (apparently) high-tech. Right when he was about to smack the ice block with the golf club, I said to my wife, "Okay, watch--his whole body is going to shake when he hits it."...
Nice interview--thanks for posting it! I'm continually impressed by just how smart and funny Jason Segel is, and I can't wait to see what the new Muppet movie brings. I like that he really likes the Muppets. Always a good sign.
