It's not my picture; I didn't take it. I did find the site though; it's Rick Lyon's site, in his photo album. Here's the link:

It was Richard. I forget what the site was, but there's a picture on it of Hunt backstage at MuppetVision, leaning against a ladder with his elbow propped on one of the rungs of the ladder and his hand on his head - only that's the arm he's wearing Scooter on so it looks like Scooter is looking...
I don't think it was him. The episode may have been shot around the time that Richard started getting sick, so he may not have had the energy to do a full-body Muppet like Sweetums, even though Sweetums was only in a few scenes in the last half of the episode.

It's a tough call for me, too. On the one hand, Adam sounds a lot like Richard (and I mean a lot; the only noticeable difference between them was that Adam pitched Scooter's voice a little higher). On the other hand, Brian's Scooter also sounded pretty close to Richard's, plus it was good to...
I saw and taped the episode off of TBS, and I liked it. Too bad the Muppets only did half of the episode, and not the whole thing.
Okay as far as performers go, I know Richard Hunt did Statler. He also did Boppity in the audience, and I'm pretty sure he did the sandwich in the living room...
Like I said before, copy and paste the URL into your browser. And don't do it in the window that comes up when you click on the link; paste it into the address bar of the window you are presently viewing. Then it should come up.

My first attempt at drawing a Muppet. Knowing me, it's a given that Skeeter is the subject of said fanart. It's Geocities, so copy and paste the URL into your address bar.

Yessss! Finally, one of my favorite comedy songs makes it to a TMS outline! Gonzo singing this is very appropriate, Matt! And I liked Bert coming after him at the end of the song, too.
Overall another really good outline! Good to see you didn't stay away from writing them too long, Matt...
My memories of Richard
Any of Scooter's numbers on TMS (Simon Smith, Mr. Bassman and Six-String Orchestra)
Scooter performing Lewis Carroll's "The Jabberwocky"
Robin and Sweetums' duet in the John Cleese ep (I can just imagine Richard with a big grin on his face as he was doing Sweetums'...
It's an acronym for AOL Instant Messanger. It comes standard with AOL dial-up service, but you can also download a version that operates independant from AOL dial-up; you don't need to log onto AOL to use it.
My screenname is Iap64 (that's an uppercase I, not a lowercase L). Right now I'm...

THANK YOU!
You just took the words right out of my mouth (and phrased them a whole lot better than I could ever have, too!).
Scooter really WAS like an extension of Hunt, to me, both on and off camera. I remember a passage in Of Muppets and Men in the "Jerry, Richard and...
Re: Re: Your Face!
*shivers violently* Ooh! Hope I never have dreams like that!
Hey Emmy! Love the pictures! Did Martin ever say what show they were doing when he snapped those (I'm assuming its Sesame Street, judging by the Muppet letters in one pic)?
Of Muppets and Men has a...
Scooter Grosse? Nope, don't like it, don't like it at all. I always figured J.P. was his uncle on his mother's side myself. It'd be really funny if Scooter had a long name a la Charles Emerson Winchester III from M*A*S*H. Like, Scooter Horatio Wellington or something like that. Heck...
*grins* Look at my avatar and then ask me that question ;)
Yes, I loved Muppet Babies. It was my first introduction to the world of the Muppets, aside from snatches I remember from the first three movies. Skeeter and Scooter were always my favorites (and Scooter is my favorite Muppet...but we...
Muppet Christmas special (particularly Scooter's comeback...not that any of you wouldn't have guessed that's what I'd put)
Palisades figures
The Mastercard commercials
and finally, on a more personal note, finding this place and all of the great people here.
