How, exactly, did they sabotage it? I haven't seen the English version of the movie in its entirety, but I have seen clips and trailers. And I was impressed with what I saw. The choice for voice actors for the characters was perfect (and ironically Daviegh Chase, the girl who did the voice...
*almost falls over in surprise* You mean...you don't know who performed Mahna Mahna? It was Jim Henson. I guess it wasn't as obvious as I thought; I mean, Mahna Mahna sounds pretty much the same as Rowlf or Dr. Teeth.
And I think Frank Oz performed the two Snowths (the "do-doo-de-do-do"...
*nods* I'm definately holding the families of all seven crew members in my prayers. The space shuttle Columbia was coming back from its 28th mission, so sadly it's not surprising that something like this happened.
The newscaster on Fox News just said that considering the rate of speed at...
(1) Tell us how you found Muppet Central for the first time and what you remember about the experience.
Hmm. Well, I first stopped by the site in the summer of 2002, while at home from college. I thought it was one of the most well put-together sites I had ever seen, and in truth it...
Richard Hunt performed the shepard in that number. And if you compare that Muppet to a picture of Richard, you might notice that they look a bit alike. I'd say that was the closest Richard came to having a Muppet that looked like him.

You know what that reminds me of? Those little Biff Henderson sketches that air on David Letterman from time to time, like "Fun with a Bullhorn" or "Fun with a Stopwatch."

Travelling Matt and I came up with this one over the course of a couple AIM chats. It's called "At the Restaurant," and is similar to the "At the Dance" spot except it has the Muppets as restaurant patrons. The restaurant would be "Charlie's" from SS, with Grover the waiter, Fat Blue and other...
"Turn the World Around" - Harry Belafonte (it's just such an amazing song!)
"We Got Us" - Dom DeLuise and the "core" Muppets (although the album version w/out Dom is better, IMO)
"Don't Fence Me In" - Bob Hope and a horse (a stereophonic horse)
"Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand" - Diana...
Here's my picks, even though there will be a bunch of reiterating other people's choices (And Chilly Down, it's not "Four Finger Orchestra", it was "Six String Orchestra." And try and find the extended version sung by Harry Chapin sometime; it's a hoot!)

Nope. Don Music is a yellow Muppet. Think Guy Smiley, only with wild brown hair and black-framed glasses. He played the piano and tried to compose great music, but he'd only get so far before getting frustrated, wailing "I'll never get it! Never! Never! Never!" and banging his head on the...
My favorites:
Juliet Prowse: Mahna Mahna
Mark Hammill/Star Wars: Rama Lama Ding-Dong (I swear, the shepherd Muppet looked like Richard)
Mummenschanz: Mr. Bassman
Alice Cooper: Welcome to my Nightmare
Vincent Price: (I've Got You) Under My Skin
Madeline Kahn: Happy Feet (Can the frog...
Actually she was speaking Spanish, and Kermit didn't have a clue what she was saying or even what language she was speaking. I was thinking to myself, "Kermit, what the heck happened to all those Spanish lessons from Sesame Street?"
I thought Kermit's bluffs for the mile question were funny...
Jim's voice...it's more similar to Rowlf's, Dr. Teeth or the Newsman's voice than it is to Kermit's. The only difference is that his regular voice wasn't as low or gruff as Rowlf's or Dr. Teeth's was.
Richard does sound a lot like Scooter. If you want to be able to tell for sure, go to...
In the opening theme used for the Vincent Price episode on the Time-Life video; I forget what the original episode this opening theme was used for:
Statler & Waldorf: *crying* Why us?
At the end of the Steve Martin episode:
Statler: Well, that was different.
Waldorf: Yup. Lousy...
