Wow, you must have been pretty sad to have been thinking about this during your prom of all things....
How did your date take it? Were they understanding?
I feel that Rosita is way under-used. In the Spanish Word of the Day segments, you would think that would be a Rosita-only segment, but no, Maria and Grover steal her thunder.
In my experience from having tried to contact Noggin, they completely shun customer opinion and go with what gets ratings.
They ignore public view completely.
I think it's a shame that Noggin is trashing the "Retro" aspect of their show.
I mean, in my opinion, the only reason to watch Noggin was for The Electric Company and old SS.
If you can get your hands on
THE SESAME STREET 10th ANNIVERSARY ALBUM on LP,
they have a print out of all of the hit songs' lyrics inside on the album cover.
This was released in 1979, I believe.
I think the SESAME STREET video guide would be the easier of the two ideas to execute and would offer more material.
The "whatever happened to" seems more limited in its possibilities, but interesting nevertheless.
My favorite Unpaved episode in the Season Premiere of 1971, where Maria, Snuffy, and Luis were all introduced.
My second fave would be the 1970 Season Premiere, where Grover first appeared as fuzzy blue.
