Dog City
i just started to wonder something. henson still owns the Dog City episode of the Jim Henson Hour, even though Rowlf was in it. if it weren't for the fact that Dog City became a series a few years later, do you people think that Disney would have owned the Dog City special?
Learning About Numbers
Since only one person has responded, I figured that I would share my thoughts on learning about Numbers. This video has many classic segments, and a funny plot involving Big Bird as the host of a Numbers Show, with the count as the announcer.
This has many classic...
Learning About Letters
Hmm, I am surprised that nobody responded, so I am going to talk about why I think Learning About Letters is the best of these.
Learnign About Letters hardly has any outdated material in it (although I don't mind outdated Sesame Street material). With the exceptions...
I don't think it works this way on all TV sets, but i have a TV with a menu button, both on the TV and on the remote for it. the menu button helps set up stuff like closed captioning and sleep timer.
there are two muppets called Chrissy, and they are both voiced by Christopher Cerf. One of them was a member of the Monotones, and the one you listed has also been called Chrissy (which causes a bit of confusion) and Chris.
I have read that the purple member of the monotones was called...
the ant
the giant ant seen in Muppet treasure island was originally called Jaques Roach, and debuted on The Jim Henson Hour. he later made regular appearances on the Animal Show With Stinky And jake, where he was renamed St.Yves La roache. Oddly enough, he appeared on The Animal Show more than...
blue muppets
there are many other blue muppets who look like fat blue and simon soundman. quite a few characters are blue, have round heads, have hair around the back of their heads, have eyebrows and have mustaches, but the hair, eyebrows and mustaches are normally different colors...
I know that. I didn't say anything about there not being one. I said that it would have been nice if that section gave information about the years that those characters were taken off the show.
As for Michael Earl Davis performing Snuffy, I have seen a thread on this mesage board that talked...
I was looking at the Tony randall episode section at the muppet show episode guide found at www.kermitage.com, and noticed that a lot of characters appeared in the cold opening. What happens in this scene?
Something else i noticed: one of the characters listed was "Beard". Now, I know that...
In that picture, was the camel a real one or a muppet one? were statler and waldorf wearing their regular clothes, or were they wearing arabian clothes?
In the Muppet Central Collectibles Guide, it is said that the Muppet Movie Songbook has a picture of them on a camel, as well as a Sam The...
Hee Haw
I never knew that any muppets appeared on Hee Haw, and I especially didn't know that bruno ever made any guest appearances on any shows, although it would make sense since bruno was created for the purpose of haveing oscar enter a live stage without his performer being seen (although it...
well, it is pointy, but the fact that the green head is pointy isn't very obvious unless the anything muppet is bald. If you have access to the song Fat cat (which is on the videos Getting ready To Read and Bert And Ernies Word Play, you can see a bald green anything muppet. I hear there is also...
I thought it was the other way around. The only song with Little jerry and the Monotones that I have access to is Telephone Rock. When the Monotones pop up and start going ""Yeah!", the purple one sounds like a Richard hunt character. It is hard to hear the voice for the orange one, but he...
Was that Picture from a storybook, or possibly a publicity photo?
The picture looked too bright compared while in the movie the scene looked darker. the picture looks like it could have been shot at a different angle. The big muppets at the end look like they are farther to the right then...
I thought it would be fun to reveal all errors and mistakes in the book Sesame Street Unpaved.
here are some:
in the section on Proffessor hastings, there is a picture of Dr. Nobel Price instead.
The section on Mr. Handford doesn't say anythin about him being played by two different...
No, it wouldn't I have read that Kermits ending scene was cut on the last DVD release as well, so if you want to edit the DVDs to have a complete copy, you would also have to edit a video release as well.
I wonder if all of these special features are going to be included so that fans who...
I don't think Disney is not allowing to have kermit in the special. I now that Hit believes that it wouldn't be worth the time, effort or money to make a deal with Disney just to include two small scenes with kermit. I think kermits scenes would be easy to edit without affecting the storyline...
Simon Soundman
Actually, the characters name is Simon Soundman, not sam the Soundman. and yes, I think they are the same puppet. many humanoid muppets on Sesame Street were used from puppets called Anything Muppets, which are basically blank-faced puppets who have facial features and clothing...
