I could be wrong, but the original version featuring Grover and Marty was only recorded for the 1971 album "Sesame Street 2 Original Cast". I don't think this song was done on the show during this time. It might have been redone in the '80's or '90's for the show, but I have never seen it. A...

Don't forget about the MFS audio commentary with Gonzo, Rizzo, and Kermit. This gives some insight as to what was intended to be part of the film and what was "real" (at least in the Muppets world).

Matt first started doing Big Bird around 1999. Currently he does the Journey to Ernie segments while Spinney does most of the street scenes. Spinney still plans to continue doing Big Bird for awhile, Matt is just getting some great experience as he develops and learns more about the character. I...

I prefer the Shawn Colvin version used on the special (not the CD release) as it featured a duet with Ernie and the Martians at the end.
