Did you catch it off ebay or the PofA board?
I love how Tim suggests on ebay that it would be ideal for a teacher....possibly the most expensive (and fragile!) teacher's assistant ever.
Also apparently the only one regulated by the FCC. :p
If you've got a few thousand to spare and have been dying to get your hands on a sophisticated animatronic puppets, well, you're in luck!
Tim Carroll - a former Muppet and Creature Shop builder - has put a animatronic Teddy Bear built for a TV show that never got off the ground up on ebay...
I'm can't quite grasp the *exact* problem. Do you have pics? Can you take some?
Something that I know helps is to build the puppet so it's mouth is naturally open, rather than closed. Not sure if you have done that or not.
You know what people who ask this question need? They need a good sewing tutorial on...is this called draping? Whatever it's called, it's more of general sewing/patterning technique than a specific puppet building one.
I've writtena tutorial on this BTW, my site should be back up with it by...
Got this via email...
A new 2-1/2 minute trailer for Spider-Man 2 will make its debut this Thursday night on NBC's The Apprentice (9pm ET, PT). USA Today broke the story of the trailer's debut and cited a potential audience of 22 million as the primary reason Sony is debuting the trailer on...
Hmmm...I think the video was done for a Muppet Sing-A-Long video in the early 90s (can't remember which one) and also played on TV. Maybe the recorded version they released is slightly different? That happens a lot.

It was a great show.
Here it is - The Geek Hierarchy.
Notice that Muppet fan doesn't even show up...not sure if that mean were just not 'geek' or if it means that the erotic Furry fanfic writers are makin' fun of us!!
Just before we finish sweeping up and send this thread off to MC heaven (or would it be hades?) I wanted to address a few statements and make a point of saying that the drawing Blink referred to was in fact copied from somewhere else - but when I was still a kid.
I couldn't find my copy of...
I know some people on here are in to Christian puppetry. Just heard about a site that (apparently) has some very good free scripts. It's been around awhile but I'm not sure if anyone's posted about it before.
Enjoy & God Bless :halo:

Oh they're great Mike! I was a little tired when I posted that but I loved them. I put a link to them in my blog on Friday. Is the Hollywood is Burning magazine (or was it a zine?) I saw on your web site still published?
I don't know of any specific books or videos, but have you tried the PofA Bookstore or AV Library? There's lots of good stuff on a whole range of subjects.
Wow. What do you say? I haven't gone through all of this yet, but wanted to post a few things and then leave it at that.
Most of Cb's post is true - I had a puppetry company that fell victim to what is commonly called "the start up squeeze", ran in to serious financial problems and had to...
