Of course, then again, my obsession with Scooby-Doo as a kid might be a supporting factor of why I occasionally use the word "groovy" ;)

That happens to me a lot. I would be in the classroom after finishing some schoolwork, and suddenly, I would think of something to post, but then by the time I'm at home on the computer, I would be trying so hard to remember it but I still can't think of it.

I was reading this "Book of Lists" or something like that, (full of awesome fun facts) and one list was "Popular Terms/Phrases of the 60's" or something, and I commonly use about a third to a half. And I wasn't even alive back then! Should I be scared?

These are technically real-life references, not TV or anything: One of my teachers got an ELMO* and one of the boys in that class with me was dancing with it, singing "La la la la, la la la la, Elmo's World" and another teacher was buying one, although it was smaller and a bit more like a lamp...
