Looking back on this, I can be such a major nerd sometimes. ;)
How many other people do you know who can forget Kermit's name, get two books from different series thinking it was the same, and cause minor damage to their puppetry hand all in the same month or so?
And on top of all that, I was playing Muppet Geography on here a week ago, and I spent about ten to twenty minutes trying to think of a Muppet whose name started with "K".
We had it in play form in our reading textbook in 6th grade. Sadly, we didn't read it in class, and I never got the chance to read through it during any spare time. :sympathy: Maybe next week I'll check out the book at the library.
Well, I haven't read Guardians of Ga'Hoole yet, and all I know is that the main character is an owl, although it sounds pretty good.
I'm only on chapter 2 or 3 of the first book of Warriors, and this is basically what is going on:
The main plot is about feral cats who are divided into different...
Oh, and also a week or two ago, I was opening a water bottle, and it was closed very tightly so I tried opening it and my fingers slid across the rough lid, leaving scratches on them. There wasn't any blood, but it still left marks. :p
This is just a bit more information:
We've been watching the Foam Book DVD's and we plan on using the three-piece head method. We'll probably be making the puppet over the weekend (less worries about school/work getting in the way), and if things go alright, I'll try to post pictures or possibly...
I was at the school library, and I thought I was getting the first two books of the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, but I accidentally got the first book of Warriors, and the second book of a different series. (Same author and same characters, just a different series.)
On the subject of fantasy series, have any of you read the Warriors series by Erin Hunter? I recently started reading the first book, and I think it's pretty cool so far.
Also, have any of you read Guardians of Ga'Hoole? I haven't read that one yet, but it seems interesting.
Chapter Four
I searched through the flip-folder to find the song and began to play my clarinet as Rowlf played the piano and the other Muppets sang.
"The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun," Scooter began.
"Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears...
:) Thanks, and I have read some of their fanfic. Very cool. I'm about to post the final chapter. (Yes, it's short. I wrote it in just 2 days during spare time in school.) However, I'm starting to really regret not having :flirt: much in either of these two fanfics.
Today in the cafeteria at school, the radio was on and it was playing that song. :D Although, I'm having trouble trying to imagine Janice singing that...then again people might be thinking the same about Scooter singing "Tomorrow" from Annie, although somehow that's stuck in my head.
Chapter Three
We seemed to be following the schedule perfectly, and the small audience seemed to be enjoying it. For the first time ever in the history of The Muppet Show, Delilah finally got the chance to show the world how talented she truly is.
Don't go breaking my heart
Meep meemo meep...
So, my dad (JanicesMainDude) and I are planning on building a puppet, and we could use some advise. Considering that this will be our first puppet, would it be easier for us to try to make a puppet similar to one of the Muppets or an original design?
