I don't think anyone's going to believe this, but I'm pretty sure I've never heard Let It Go, and I haven't even tried to avoid it or anything; alas, it was featured in today's Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer, so that's how I'll be exposed to it.
There's definitely a line between the songs I and...
I think it definitely varies by area; I am stuck with some generic "We play anything" station that rotates the same 45 songs every day, but I feel like a lot of stations are becoming the same.
On some other sites I'm a member of you get infractions for double posting (I think Old Thunder would be banned by now) and if you revive an old thread they will immediately lock it.
Queen and Journey are overplayed and their only songs I legitimately enjoy are "Who's Crying Now" and "You're My Best Friend"; I would honestly be honored to never hear the majority of their radio hits again. :o
But I mean, turn on a frickin' radio and how could you disagree?
I've been meaning to make this list for a while; the ten most overplayed songs on the radio. I'll try to list them in order, but jee oh man is it a slugfest:

6. The Joker
5. Piano Man
4. Turn the Page
3. Hotel...

I actually somehow evolved from a hard rock AC/DC/Zeppelin/Sabbath fan in my teenage years into a "wussy" Carpenters one as an adult; you could just say I'm a fan of '70s music, but I prefer the songwriting to be a little more complex. I'm definitely not as easily amused as I was as a teen...
Yep; 2007 was pretty much the death of mainstream music for me, where everything became unlistenable. It became more about posturing and less about artists singing about things they actually care about, and now every chorus is just "wah oh wah oh wah, whoa ah oh ah oh ah oh".
