lol @ the CGI tree at 1:07. They must've been influenced by Jabba the Hutt or something.

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Probably the third time I've posted this song in this thread... unbelievable. Pure energy, and not a wasted second. Disbanded the band in less than a year; shortly after wrote another great pop gem lost to the sands of time: Only 17 years ago... doesn't even feel possible for a song like...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

I could live with that... I feel like by me we had a week of fall, since we plummeted from the 70s to 30s in like a week.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

I work inside a warehouse and this guy has continuously worn short sleeves, even on 30 degree days with light snow... I'm beginning to wonder if he's D'Snowth. @D'Snowth What is your ideal temp?

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Joe Jackson is amazing, and that song is timeless. Here's a #1 '80s song I heard for the first time yesterday: Every time I discover a song like this or "Sailing" by Christopher Cross that you never hear on the radio (only Sirius XM), I always learn it reached #1 on the charts.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

I have evolved (or devolved on how you look at it) from being an introvert to just straight up asocial; as everyone else has described, this is not healthy at all. I used to not be this way -- I used to look forward to hanging out with people, but now it just drains me and is a chore. I feel...

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

Even if these characters appeared just once a year in a YouTube video or something it would be so dope. I am a member of MC (the largest base of Muppet fanatics on earth) and have never even seen this character in my life. I had seen the Old MacDonald puppet, but didn't know that was his name.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit General Discussion

The shoe is way worse: this cute, innocent thing going to this ******* for help and he just slowly tortures it. If I were to make a Disney film, it would just be Scar and Judge Doom being tortured for an hour thirty.

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

I feel like they're varying degrees of obscurity; to nitpick, Sherlock feels like he's too good to be in that group. Part of me is upset these characters will only appear once and then never again. Like Captain Vegetable interacting with :search:? Why isn't this a thing more often.

Beau creeping out of the shadows with his soulless eyes almost looks more creepy than Deadly, heh.

Who remembers this Sesame Street Knickerbocker?

Gotcha; I only looked at the general Knickerbocker page and didn't realize there was a specific one for these figures. Had they made more, these honestly wouldn't have been bad figures at all. These four are honestly probably the best SS figures in existence (aside from Palisades' Super Grover...

Video: Happy Halloween from Uncle Deadly

It is odd how rare Beau has become since his performer is the last vet still standing. And I'm totally confused if the Count was joking about not knowing who he is.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit General Discussion

To piggyback off of minor muppetz' post, when I was younger Roger somehow managed to weasel his way into the main Mickey Mouse troupe at Disney Parks, though he seemed to have left as quickly as he came. Although I've only seen bits and pieces of the film (I have ADD when it comes to movies)...

Who remembers this Sesame Street Knickerbocker?

How did I miss this? Nude public appearances by Ernie, robed PVC figures, but this one takes the cake. Joking aside, (dressed) that actually looks like a pretty decent vintage figure; Sesame Street toys are usually static PVCs, so this a nice change. The authentic clothing is a nice touch. I...

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

I wouldn't bet on it... as far as we know Frank didn't even show up, and that was a huge part of his life.

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Yeah, there's a bit of Newman in "Exit"; he wrote the Toy Story music and other Pixar scores. I love this song of his. Pair it with nostalgia and it's deadly: I got niinja'd by Jerry while typing this, but here's another one. He's kind of known for those pounding piano chords that sound liike...
