Ain't it just amazing what insomnia does to me? Now I've read all that's been posted, I love it, and I'm ever so impatiently waiting for more. As usual.
<runs in, very much out of breath>
....ok.....I... read.... up to.... um.... Jerry Stinger? Yeah, Jerry Stinger, with Beaker meep meep and... I love what I've read, love every inch of what I've read, and I can't wait to read more, and I would read more, except... it's late, and I have to...
BEAR I agree with Mrs. P, this avatar of Bear looks a little more aged. Noticed in another thread you said you'd trapped yourself with Bear avatars. I don't think it's really "trapped," considering what a variety Fozzie Bear has with all his Fozzie avatars. And you've got an even bigger variety...
Hey, I remember this thread!
...it would be kind of sad if I forgot it, considering I started it...
But it's amusing to re-read it when people have different avatars, isn't it? I still think a lot of our avatars look kind of young.
Chef: Hey Leesa! Luuks leeke-a yuoo'fe-a hed a prudoocteefe-a dey ooff shuppeeng.
Lisa: Well, yes and no. Got a skirt, shirt, jacket, nice pair of boots... still need some stuff, though. I don't know what Mom and I were thinking, going shopping on a Saturday. Must be more proof that we're...
Beth (redBoobergurl) did a great story where they had an exceptionally big fight (fuelled by Oscar) and they split up, and Bert joined the circus but the guy in charge was a real... uh, insert word that definately would not be on Sesame Street... and Ernie and everybody else on the street went...
I have homework to do, I have homework to do, I have homework to do, I have homework to do, I have.... agh... not... working... must... play... with... new... features!
Edit: OOH! I LOVE THE EDITING! Oh this is very cool, this is awesome, this is... oh hey look! This is my 2100 post! Wow, I...
Lisa: Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh...
Rowlf: Stretching?
Lisa: Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-yah! Yes, stretching. Mm, felt good.
Rowlf: What's that you're doing? English paper?
Lisa: Naw, I'm procrastinating on that as usual. This here is... well, I'll make you guess. It's not my...
Totally agree with BEAR on the Jerry Juhl note. They should make some sort of acknowledgement of it, but they shouldn't leave their characters for it.
On a different note, I think these "From the Balcony" things are really teaching me to appreciate Pepe. I used to despise him, but now I just...
<raises hand>
I vote we all take a deep breath. Correct me if I'm wrong- I'm very good at being wrong, you know- but I don't think anyone posting in this thread had or has any ill-intentions at all. How about taking a deep breath and calmly discussing it over a few muffins?
Lisa: Hey Ed? I see you've posted the long awaited highly anticipated final chapter of "Numbers of the Night." Unfortunately I won't be able to read it tonight. You see I've been "invited" to apply for the National Honor Society. Part of the application is an essay about my scholarship...
Life? What's life? Oh, you mean the board game! Yeah that's fun. Or did you mean the cereal? Well that's good too, I mean I prefer Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but...
<blink>
Not that life? Well then what life? Isn't it just a board game and a cereal? What's this life you speak of? Is it edible...
Robin: Lisa? Are you okay?
Lisa: You know Robin... I'm not really sure. Just thinking about a lot of stuff, I guess.
Rowlf: Lay it on us, Lisa.
Lisa: Alright. Well to start, Jerry, of course. And a tribute for him. That... That's pretty high on my priority list at the moment. Then there's all...
Rowlf: Lisa?
Lisa: Shhh. Robin fell asleep in my lap. At least he's not crying now. What is it, Rowlf?
Rowlf: Thought you could use one of these. <gives me a hug>
Lisa: <hugging Rowlf back> Yeah. Yeah, that's exactly what I need. Think it's what you need, too.
Rowlf: Mm-hm.
Chef: <joinging...
