You do have a point. Especially with Season 4 due out later this year, I highly doubt that LucasFilm would grant Buena Vista the rights to include the Mark Hamill episode, another reason to keep that respective TBOTMS volume.
On a side note, the Vincent Price episode on the TBOTMS (which also...
Since I was technically too late to see the original endings before they were replaced, I was so anxious to see them. But there's one more essential question I need answered.
Were these changes to the Zoot endings made over the years made into the original production masters? In other words...
I have a bit of a dilemma on my hands. Though I have been buying the TMS season sets, I already own 6 of the 7 volumes of The Best of the Muppet Show released by Columbia-TriStar in 2002-2003. This includes 8 episodes from season 2 (Elton John, Julie Andrews, Peter Sellers, John Cleese, Steve...

It should also be noted that another UK/US difference that I only recently discovered was the logo featured in the original Zoot ending.
While the US rollers ended with the ITC logo, the UK rollers had the ATV logo instead. Luckily, someone on YouTube posted an example of the latter.
I do apologize if this is old news to anyone, but we should consider ourselves fortunate that someone on YouTube uploaded the closing credits to the Cleo Laine episode with the original Zoot ending intact :cool::cool:! Click here and fast-forward to 0:51...
