To be honest, I don't think Muppet Babies is going to be what folks are hoping for. Just like many other things these days, the Babies have been watered down. Baby Kermit doesn't wear a sailor suit anymore, Baby Piggy wears overalls, and the characters have been lowered from 10 to 5 Babies...
Ick..>.<
Here's where I found the picture. It doesn't do Baby Piggy justice whatsoever..>.< Heck, they're probably not even going to give the fuzzy Muppet Babies fur!

No room for Baby Rowlf
I have dubious thought about this. First off, I doubt if they'll even touch Baby Rowlf. Which is a shame since Rowlf has a bigger place in Muppet history than Gonzo or Animal, and yet was pretty much shoved out of the way when turned into a baby. Second, I've seen pics...
It was only Leonardo and Michaelangelo who regressed, if I recall.
I remember that episode!:) *grin*
I also remember (speaking of N'Sync Babies), that in of of the episodes of the New Kids on the Block cartoon (YES, I used to watch that as a pup) that they briefly touched upon Baby New...
OH!!! those are great!!!:) Thing is though, I remember Baby Janice, and she had one ponytail on top of her head like Piggy sort of, rather than pigtails.
In the meantime, could you do more pics of Baby Rowlf?:) I would love to see more!:) I'd love to see Babies Bunsen and Beaker too...
Nah, I've seen every episode, and rizzo was never on the show. However, he DID appear in a few pictures and on merchandise. I remember him wearing a red shirt with a green R on it..:)
Also, I remember they imagined Camilla as a live baby chick in a few episodes...though everyone knows her...
Okay, weird thought: a TNG version of that Mama Gaga song in Muppets take Manhattan!
*feverishly imagines Klingon puppies and baby androids*
*shudders* Um, I think I'll go lie down now....:P
AWWWWWWWWW!! I love those!! Jamie, how did you make the Muppet Babies?:) Where did you get the pics?:)
I want to see more Baby Rowlf!!:)
(BTW, do a Baby Bunsen and Beaker!:))
Well yeah.:) *grins* Even now he has those qualities.
That's one of the things I like so much about Data. He's the strongest and most intelligent character on the show, and yet he looks at the world with this childlike sense of wide-eyed innocence.
Baby Rowlf
No, but it's the same premise of having younger versions of adult characters. And it's about as close as you're going to get to the baby fad. 'specially with a 3 year old android running around! *grins*
Fortunately for everyone else, he doesn't need diapers..:)
Baby Rowlf
What's funny is that all the characters look like little kids except for Baby Data who looks the same as he always does. But the twist to THAT is that he acts WAY younger than his friends!
Baby Rowlf
Heh. I guess the Muppet Babies influenced Star Trek as much as Star Trek influenced the Muppet Babies! See I recently found out about this novel series for kids that features the characters of the Next Generation as children themselves. It has the whole gang ranging from ages 12-15 (except...
And speaking of our yellow-eyed pal....
If Jim Henson had been involved with Star Trek, do you think they would have used a human actor to bring the android to life, or do you think they would have used the Creature Shop?:)
Personally, I think the latter would contain many variants of...
Skeeter is really Scooter in drag.. They used special effects to make them look like there were two of them instead of one. Kinda like Lore and Data.
I should know! I have an inside on the Nursery..and the diaper to prove it! :D
*runs off*
