yeah i was aware of the changes. just never heard it officially referred to as the "New Sesame Street". I personally, don't like change #1 (on your list). I thought the old idea was good where the street scene was broken up through out the show. but oh well.
I am working on a list of all the Sesame Street Muppet characters through the years and creating some kind of roster of which ones should be made. Maybe this will help some of you with your wishlists, as there may be some characters you forgot about that would be perfect candidates in the SS...
Yes, but the exciting thing is that Palisades is not done with the Muppets. We are launching into a wonderful new line of Sesame Street figures which will be amazing!! Hopefully this one will last just as long as the Muppet Show line did.
Yeah, D'Snowth, I liked it a lot too. I would watch it all the time with my mom and brother as a little kid when it was on the air. I don't know what happened to it. The host was a funny man though. Remember how when he would enter every episode with that little one foot skid thing...
No, I never thought of it that way before, but now I will, thanks. You just made me laugh so hard!!

I just thought of something...since this is supposed to be a prequel to The Muppet Movie, can you give some kind of "explanation" as to why Pepe wasn't in the movie. It would be interesting.
Telly has been around for about 25 years, so he isn't really new. He is being featured loads more these days though. Rosita has been around for abou 15 years, so I guess I shouldn't call her "new". I still feel she could use more exposure.
