It's been confirmed at Muppet Wiki that Big Elmo Fun will have three street stories, one involving a butterfly and one involving cooking, as well as two new songs with Elmo (I wonder if they really are new as in the DVD is their debut or if they're from the newest season).
This thread kind of reminds me of something that was stated in this article http://www.muppetcentral.com/articles/editorials/unseen_work.shtml though it really has to do with The Jim Henson Company and not Sesame Workshop: Pretty much everything since Sesame Street started had been...
I'd say The Muppet Show: Season Four, because it's still not out yet. Ask me again after it comes out, and I'll say The Muppet Show: Season 5. Or a box set of every Jim Henson Hour episode (even if it's only the MuppeTelevision portions).
But when it comes to existing collectibles, I'd say Of...
Yeah, I have sold some DVDs to used video stores in the past and didn't get much, even though they'd charge higher prices, but I figured that's how they make their money.
I've often searched for and failed to find copies of the Muppet videos from Playhouse as well as the Play-Along Videos, but...
Something I kind of noticed about buying used videos, DVDs, and video games: It seems like flea markets and such tend to sell these things at real low prices, around 1 dollar (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less), while stores that specialize in selling used videos, DVDs, and games...
Well, voting is over.
I found a video on sesamestreet.org that would make a good bonus feature on this: http://www.sesamestreet.org/video_player/-/pgpv/videoplayer/0/0f494790-cecf-468f-ba55-10f030d84e82/elmo_how_it_all_began In fact, it'd be great to see featurettes like this on all the main...
Here's a video that was just added, with Kevin Clash talking about Elmo: http://www.sesamestreet.org/video_player/-/pgpv/videoplayer/0/0f494790-cecf-468f-ba55-10f030d84e82/elmo_how_it_all_began
This would make a good bonus feature for either the upcoming Being Elmo DVD or The Best of Sesame...
I read on wikipedia that the game sold over 4 million copies. There is a list on wikipedia that lists best-selling games from each system, based on a certain number of sold/produced cartridges, and none of the other TMNT NES games are listed, and wikipedia doesn't list how well the other games...
I think I've read that Rizzo the Rat was credited in The Muppets, yet he didn't have any lines. Steve Whitmire did an interview with Tough Pigs after the movie was completed (though I can't remember if this was before or after it was reported that the ending, which briefly has a shot of Rizzo...
I'm not sure who would do a good Annie Sue, besides Louise Gold, but I'll accept Miss Kermie's choice of Alice Dennon (I had originally considering giving that line to Spamela, but then thought it sounded more like an Annie Sue line). As for Mean Mama, how about Peter Linz?
Both have been corrected, with "nasal" changed to "nasally voice". Though I thought that a nasal was just a term for a type of voice (is nasal used for other things?).
There is a used video/DVD/music/video game store in town, and it seems they have collectors in mind for certain things. Like some of the Walt Disney Treasures DVDs costing almost 80 dollars (they didn't even cost that much used), and that store sold a used copy of the infamous Teenage Mutant...
For years I've been wanting to see the promo for the 1985 Muppet Video compilations from Playhouse Video again. And the website Video Detective sort of has a promo...
For some reason, the site posted a clip from the Kermit and Miss Piggy Story portion of the promo, though even then it's not...
I post there, under the name Loser User. In fact, speaking of AV Club, I didn't understand the punchline to the telephone pole bit until I read that article. I kept meaning to ask on the forums what the joke was but never quite got it. Turns out the "telelphone pole" is mearly a polish guy in a...
Seems I misworded something, asking if it was normal for movies to come on video after one year instead of asking if it was normal to come on video four years after release.
Though knowing that the first three Muppet movies and Follow That Bird were released on video a year after being...
