Should somebody break it to that commenter that the line ended before Walter was created?
And now that I think about it, how come none of the Palisades figures appear in Walter's room? He's claimed in an interview that he has every figure except the Dr. Teeth repaint (then again, I wonder if...
I sort of agree. I like the segment alright, but the ending is a bit hard for me to watch. I also feel the same way about the sketch where Bert gets locked out and Ernie thinks he's just practicing knocking.
Don't know if anybody saw this, but a few weeks ago, I posted an article at The Muppet Mindset about the figures. Here's the article: http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2012/03/ten-years-of-palisades-toys-muppet.html
You know, I'm a little scared to download this, mainly because downloading might not be safe. I'm sure I'll eventually give in, but I'm not sure.
But tell me, does this draft have Uncle Deadley? Is it the one that ends with it revealed that Tex Richman was really Kermit?
I've read some...
Been watching certain chapters of Jet Fuel Formula tonight. And noticed a few interesting things.
When Rocky and Bullwinkle are at sea on the life boat with the mooseberry bush disguised as Boris' uncle, there is a full shot of the boat and the "uncle" isn't in the shot.
Also, Bullwinkle...
I saw it. In fact I posted my opinions a few posts ago. I didn't think it was that bad.
But if you want a negative review, I reccommend the review by The Nostalgia Chick: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/team-nchick/nostalgia-chick/34545-the-lorax
A review of the Blu-Ray lists the deleted scenes. Off-hand, I recall the deleted scene "titles" being (and paraphrased): Walter's Nightmare, A Hero in LA, Life's a Happy Song Missing Verse, Strip Mall Awards, Muppets in Jail, some Credit Card scene, Bowling for Beaker, and Extended Muppet...
I didn't get that for years. Then I saw the AV Club review of the episode, and saw it say that it's a polish (or is it spelled pollish in this case?) joke. A "pole" is another term for someboyd from polland, and he's in the telephone, with a polish-sounding last name (though it's Frank Oz's full...
I like season 5 better. There's so many great stuff from this season... The introduction of Lips (as well as Pops), the best version of the opening (the first version I saw parts of, in The Secrets of the Muppets), the best version of the closing theme (which I'd heard on the Playhouse Video...
I thought the same thing.
Quite a few have mentioned how Sweetums doens't catch up until the movie ended, in the theater. What I think is that Sweetums eventually did catch up, but they chose not to put it in the film (unless it came between "The End" and Sweetums bursting out), and Sweetums...
Just watched the video, and noticed at the beginning that Gonzo says "Welcome to the Muppet Theater!"
I wonder if they didn't want to rebuild the backstage (assuming the original is no longer in good condition), which would explain why we only see a technical area near the stage. It's a shame...
At times I've had dreams that I've found or obtained copies of one or more of the Playhouse Video compilations. But the other night I dreamt that I found a new flea market and searched only to not find any. More realistic.
Usually when I have dreams of finding copies I go to a flea market or...
Here's something I thought of...
In the Sesame Street News segment with Rumplestilskin, when Rumplestilskin reveals his first name to be "Bruce", the millers daughter repeats "Bruce?" in disbelief and Kermit scrunches his face as if it's a bad joke. I don't get it.
Bruce Rumplestilskin...
Well, a year earlier, in Miss Piggy's one appearance on The Jim Henson Hour, when Vicki claims/assumes Miss Piggy dumped Kermit, Kermit starts to claim that they were never a couple.
One thing I noticed about the promo when I was younger was that during "The Muppet Revue" portion the announcer didn't mention Linda Ronstadt, but when watching the promo again I noticed that Loretta Switt wasn't announced when listing the Rock Music with the Muppets guest stars. And it seems...
