Oh, there will be. I have no idea WHEN those future chapters will be written... but they will be. I've put way too much thought and effort and planning into this particular story to abandon it completely. I have enough plot laid out in timeline form to cover at least another year in story time...
I do sometimes wish I could go backwards and trim some of those scenes down considerably. It's amazing how easy it is, when writing, to get carried away without even realizing it. Unfortunately, those chapters are all several years too old for me to go back and edit the posts. :p
On the other...
There's actually a more recent one, even, in Chapter 52. But Ed, you are correct that the first time Prawnie, Beau, and I appeared together in a fic was in Hidden Juhl.
And I had somehow completely forgotten that I appeared in Kermie's Girl, which I am RIDICULOUSLY behind on reading... But...
Five years was my approximate guess when I was half-asleep. I just checked, and the last chapter of this story was posted October 13, 2006... so, fast approaching six years. But it's fun when my old stories get bumped. Then I start re-reading them, and think, "Oh yeah, that's what I was doing...
Oh, Lisa isn't going to post much of anything. She's just re-reading, which is actually a very silly thing for her to be doing right now. She's got a very long, hot day ahead of her tomorrow, and it's already past midnight, and her bed is still covered with things that need to be cleared off so...
Oh goodness. The working titles "chocolate" and "ill intro" were for two separate, completely different stories that have NOTHING to do with Luri. Sorry for the confusion! But yes, of course my "next" story, whatever it is, will have plenty of pain in it. My stories almost always do. My only...
She's from a fanfic... that was never written. I've got a couple random scenes, brainstorms, and vague summaries scattered across one or two notebooks and two or three files on my computer. I might get back to it someday... But who knows? Some things, you just can't force.
Funny thing about...
Goat: <slings a mud-covered arm around Father's shoulders> Frosty, you've never looked better. <examines distant person> Yeah, looks like the Spicentist is back... But no problem! One of the many wonderful qualities of mud is that it helps us blend in with our surroundings. <flops backwards into...
Goat: MUD! Mud mud mud mud mud! <rolls around in the mud> MUD! Wonderful mud! Isn't this FANTASTIC mud, Frosty? <gives Father a good, hearty, incredibly muddy slap on the back>
Goat: <still trembling> Mud. Need mud. Need dirt. <notices lovely mud puddle under the tree> MUD! <Looks at Father and Grace and points at mud puddle> Disguise! <grabs them both and jumps out of the tree and into the mud>
Goat: <still shaking> Rain? Rain gone? No wet? <warily holds out palm and peers at the sky> No wet? No more wet... Okay. No more wet. <breathes> No more wet. No more wet. <gets dripped on by leaves> WET! AHHHHH!
Goat: WET! WET! WET! AHHHHH! I'M WET! AHHHHHHHH! <whimpers and cowers in tree branches, trying to stay under as many leaves as possible> Wet leads to CLEAN... NOOOOOOOOOOO! <trembles uncontrollably> Make it stop! Make it stop!
(OOC: Well, obviously, I'm not online because I'm dashing off to get in the shower any second now. And by any minute now, I mean ten minutes ago. Isn't that perfectly evident by my utter lack of posting? The fact that I am not online proves that I must be off being productive somewhere. That's...
Goat: <Drops down from rafters> <pats Aloo on the back, getting plenty of dirt on him> I'm not sayin' spice is messy. I'm sayin' cooking is messy. You know, it makes a mess! All the dirty dishes and the spills and the eggshells left over when the food's done--it's great!
Goat: Hey, we are on TV, aren't we? Sweet! <aside> Irony. Definite irony. <to Aloo> Hey, Mr. TV host! How about NOT catching the talking flying pony muffin, and showin' us that bit about the fancy whatcha-ma-callit-spice thing again? 'Cause that looked messy. I like messy.
