Yep! She was on Regis today and that was her. I might do up a transcript for that appearance tomorrow.
If anyone is looking for a copy of both of them... I also have the TVland appearance and KErmit on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, let me know. If you want to pay for shipping, I don't mind...
It's not my fault I'm er... uh...well...hmm...
I can't think of a good excuse.
Very tired from teaching! And... And!!! I can't even talk! So there! Er... what were we talking about again? And why am I wet and cold?
<takes position as third half and thirds both of those seconds>
WE MISS YOU, PRAWNIE!!! And anyone picking on that half of my other whole will have a very pouty Layla to deal with. <nods firmly>
Ah, well, I caught it, and taped it yay! It was a nice appearance I thought, but then, I'm just happy to see him around.
So there were three segments with Kermit... he was at Times Square apparently, wearing an adorable little red scarf.
One of the host ladies, (I don't know her name, sorry)...
<Leyla is sitting alone in the kitchen with her head buried in her arms when Hilda enters.>
Hilda:Oh! <concerned> Are you alright?
Leyla: <sighs> I... have NO idea what to do.
Hilda: About the-
Leyla: About that. <Without lifting her head, she points to the wall, beyond which lies Room #20.>...
Ah, this is sweet and fun and beautifully written, like everything I've come to expect from you, Catherine dear. I haven't seen this particular ornament, but it's a great little story with all of that wonderful Kermit/Piggy interplay that makes me love them so much.
<giggles> Always fun to see...
<Leyla is holding Robot Kermit's head and muttering while the rest of her roomies watch in horrified fascination>
Jimmy: Does she do that sorta thing often?
Hilda: ...yes. Well... when she's provoked, which is...
Wanda:... often. I must trick Wayne into saying something she won't like...
<Leyla bolts into Room 18 dragging her cello behind her>
Leyla: Oy, what a day!
Hilda: How was the concert?
Leyla: Oh, fine, fine! We played better than I thought we would, and I'm way too tired to have been nervous, so that's all to the good... but...
Hilda: But?
Leyla: <shifty eyes>...
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RU!!! You're alive!!! Hooray!!! EEEE!!! Oh, I'm SO happy!!!! I missed ya, darling!
<<<<<<big, big, glompy HUGS!>>>>>
Ah, and what a lovely chapter to come back with!! Oh, it's wonderful!!
I love all the ushy gushy Kermity syrup...
<Leyla is sitting on the floor in front of their sofa, fast asleep with her head propped up on the coffee table. Wanda is doing Hilda's hair up in an elaborate up do that looks very odd on her. Robot Kermit is having a staring contest with a Kermit portrait drawn by Tabi.>
Jimmy: <bolting into...
Oh my goodness. This is certainly getting rather tense, isn't it! That Benny has got to be one of the scarier villains we've seen around here, and I don't even know what to make of Uncle Deadly with Death's scythe... <shivers>
And, or course, amidst all the scary trouble, you've got muppety...
I haven't done one of these in too long. Of course, I'm constantly exhausted and my life will only get busier with my new job. Ah well! Quoting!
I like two things about this. Piggy is really, seriously working on getting her parts right, and I like that professional side of her, frog-induced...
<ears burn>
<head perks up, Leyla starts looking around alertly>
Did I hear something about ushy gushy? And libel?
<giggles> Don't worry. Ushy gushers are remarkably easy to pacify. I'm still feeling warm and squishy over that AMAZING family gathering picture. Oh, the characters look...
SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CUES!!!! KERMIT!! PIGGY!!! MISUNDERSTANDINGS!! ONE ANGRY, CONFUSED FROG!! ONE SAD PIG TRYING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT!!! ONE HYSTERICALLY FUNNY CHEF SHARING WISDOM!!! ONE WONDERFUL DOG WHO'S SOOOOO IMPORTANT TO THE MUPPETS!!!
ONE VERY HAPPY...
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa dear! Oh, beloved mentor of my heart! I'm SO sorry for being SO far behind you! It's like 8 chapters now, and they've ALL been so great and so quote worthy and I've been lacking both time and energy.
I"M SOOOOOOORRRRYYYY!!!!!!!
But, you know I love you, right? And your...
Chapter um... well... another one, anyway.
Oh, thanks and hugs and love to everyone who replied to the last chapter... this in another introspective one, next one should have a little more dialogue and action and stuff.
And, just for the record, despite appearances, Beau is NOT an ushy gushy...
(She's surprisingly stubborn Prawnie. Rather fixated I'm afraid, and Robot Kermit isn't making things any easier!) (And yes, you are both absolutely lovable)
Mmm... that's right, Prawnie, stay in the parantheses. The world outside of them is cold and frightening.
(Thanks, Prawnie!) Oh, I don't know why the pianist would object! I would take great care of him! See, I've gotten him his very own kennel, with one of those adorable Schroeder-esque toy pianos! (I've been spending way too much time with my roomies) (Also Lisa and Prawnie)
