Don't despair!
Thanks to a bout of insomnia, I'm still awake! (I wish I wasn't)
So, I did a little investigating, namely by visiting the Tough Pigs Forum at Delphi, and found the following post from Danny... who I'm pretty sure is the fellow in charge of Tough Pigs.
His post, copied without...
Thanks muchly everyone! <<<<<<HUGS>>>>> all around!
Hmm... okay, this is an official teddy alert. I think I can safely upgrade that, in fact, to a melodrama alert. There's really nothing of comedy here... so prepare yourselves before reading further...
Oh... you're kidding, right, about that being sad thing... 'cause I didn't mean to make you sad! I like it, I do! I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't respect you as a writer... and like I said, it woudn't keep me out of this story... <tries not to feel guilty>
Hmm... enjoying this a lot! The ushy gushy was yummy and Robin wondering what a kiss is like...lovely! I enjoyed the lines about how strangely domestic the scene was when Robin returned and you know, Robin is just as charming as a teenager as he is as a child.
Keep an eye on your tenses...
<grins> You mean about Kermit needing to rely more on his family? Oh, oh, I see, the Piggy thing. <shrug> I made it nearly all the way through a lengthy post without turning ushy gushy... My fanfiction friends will tell you that is nigh miraculous! ;)
There's a reason I try to stay out of...
This is an interesting topic. I don't think I would really put this change on Steve. Nope. When I think about it, I agree with myself and don't. I agree with Ruahnna here and I'd like to suggest that perhaps the reason Kermit seems nicer, not that he was ever deliberately mean (in my opinion)...
Whew, okay! Under threat of penguins and who knows what Lisa would have done to me, I've got another chapter up for you. Enjoy! <crosses fingers>
Green stuff: Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! I'm liking your story too!
Ed: Don't shoot, it's here!
Ruahnna: Oh, you! <<<<hugs>>> You've been...
Hooray for Lisa!!!!
Whoo! It's always such a thrill when you update. You keep drawing me further and further in to this story! <sigh> Lovely.
Alrighty, I'm starting off with a big quote here, because there's just so much in here. I liked Kermit's instinctive looking to Jim, in the same way...
Squee!! <dancey, dancey, bouncy, bouncy yay!!> This was fun! I just keep falling further and further behind in reviewing, but oh, this is a very exciting and occasionally heart wrenching/breaking story! I love it!!
<old Leyla voice>You write very well for a fifteen year old. :P
And, since no...
<crash> Hmm... <crash> Do you think <crash> he enjoyed <crash> your story <crash> Prawnie? <CRASH>
Proper quotey review coming as soon as I can formulate sentences worthy of my diction skills.
<takes life in own hands and pats Zombie Lisa on the head>
Aww... who's a good zombie? You is so cute! You know, I know just the person for you to meet.
<wheels out ushy gushy girl cage>
I just know you'll get along famously!
Well, she's trying to learn to communicate... that's excellent! You know, I think she's waiting for someone to post... like say Beauregard... yeah, that's it!
Oh, well, now she looks much more gooey. Yuccha.
I wonder what kind of zombie she is... Lisa? Are you hungry for delicious brains? Or deliecious stories?
<Yanks hand back> Hmm... well, she has no aversion to fingers... Doctor? Is there a doctor in the house?
<considers this>
Nah... she's more ushy gushy than you are, and that's the currency I deal in.
Plus I think you've turned her into a zombie.
<consults spell book>
