Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Why did The Wonder Years have the same opening for most of its run? The opening was a montage that appeared in the first episode, which showed Winnie looking different than she would after that scene, with her having pigtails and glasses. It'd be weird for those familiar with the series who...
I've asked the same question many times. Maybe not here, but I guess great minds think alike. All drinks are soft, it's not like they make hard drinks (which would be hard to swallow).
Or how about a special theme song showcasing clips from each era. I think the seasons 33-38 themes are the only ones to actually include clips from the show. Maybe even show "through the years" montages of the main characters.
Recently I thought about how Saturday Night Live has (or had, not sure if they're still making them) a video collection where each release is themed around a different season. Maybe they could put out an iTunes collection of the best of Sesame Street from every season (I couldn't see them...
Maybe I should bring this up on the Muppet Wiki forums, but I've noticed that Muppet Wiki has quite a few pages for Sesame Street episodes where it just lists some of the sketches. I'm not talking about episodes compiled from program guides (which are noted on the pages in those cases), but...
I thought there was something about a lot of Will Ferrell's roles, though I like those kinds of characters (not sure if by "unlikeable" you meant you didn't like them or the characters were supposed to be unlikeable). Though I don't know if he's typecast... He is a big star and has been in a lot...
Have any variety show/sketch comedy actors ever been typecast? It seems being on such a show should save someone from typecasting, since they regularly get to play multiple roles, but I wonder if that's actually happened.
And I'm not talking about actors who started out on variety shows but...
This might be better for its own thread (though I can't figure out a good thread title for the subject), but here goes...
Latley, on the Tough Pigs forum (and I think I've seen this brought up on the Muppet Central forums, and it is brought up as well in Jim Henson: The Biography), when...
I thought it was odd that Zoot was away from Dr. Teeth, Floyd, and Janice at the wedding. I also noticed Animal missing, but that's probably because he's with Fozzie and Walter in helping save Kermit (and yet Gonzo is at the wedding, which implies he won't). Lips is also not there, though we...
I've wondered if it is realistic or even normal for a play to open within two weeks of a producer deciding he wants to get it produced.
Maybe there were so many Broadway theaters booked within the near-enough future that the only theater available in the near-enough future just happened to be...
Don't know whether that's a Henson as the "nine noodles" girl, but she was whining then? All this time I thought she was talking like a snobby little girl.
There's a TV show that I remember, but can't remember the title. I'm guessing it was short-lived.
The show involved a group of kids who had no parents, so the oldest son took care of his siblings. But since the oldest one was underage as well, he disguised himself as an older woman to fool...
Movies and TV shows featuring children have to deal with child labor laws, making sure that the kids don't go over the limited number of hours they can be on a set or shooting location daily. Sometimes they have to find creative ways to work around child labor laws.
But then on The Wonder...
Blu-ray.com has posted a review: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Muppet-Treasure-Island-and-The-Great-Muppet-Caper-Blu-ray/81115/#Review
I don't like how this review says that these are the least-liked of the movies or haven't foudn much of an audience outside of the more hardcore fans. I feel...
Just recently watched the season two finale and season three premiere of The Wonder Years, and noticed a continuity error between the two episodes (of course, I think this is the first time I saw the whole season two finale, as opposed to bits and pieces).
In the season two finale, Paul...
While looking at the Muppet Wiki forum, it looks like somebody had contact with the author and learned that the book will list first appearances of Muppets Tonight episodes by production order rather than broadcast order, and MuppeTelevison episode numbers for first appearances of characters who...
For awhile, I had wondered if episode 1966 was an episode with a recycled street story. I would be surprised if they did reuse an existing street story for a season premier. And of course we now know that it isn't a reused episode. That would be a good reason for Noggin to not air it, if it had...
