I wouldn't totally say they are going "downhill" although I do see and understand where you are coming from. The Muppets have been going through a tough transition period lately, especially due to the recent Disney buying them. But we must remain hopeful.:)
Bry: (replying to Oscar) You're very welcome!
Rosita: (Running to Oscar) And we love you, Oscarito. Come here, you! (Grabs his head and gives him a big smooch) Hehe.
Big Bird: I'm so glad everyone is liking their valentines.
Snuffy: Yeah.
Big Bird: Well, I'm off to meet the...
Yay! Good to see another Sesame Streeter here. I like Elmo, but I suggest you find the member here called furryredmonster. She has been our resident Elmo fanatic for quite a while here. She's your girl to discuss Elmo with. Welcome!:)
(Hoots flies in)
Bry: Hey, Hoots! How was the concert?
Hoots: Groovy, man. Wish you were there.
Bry: I know. I'm really sorry. I had a lot of homework tonight. Otherwise, I totally would have gone.
Hoots: It's cool. There'll be others. Looks like all my buddies are asleep.
Bry...
Bry: Okay, you guys...I've split up the list. Rosita, I want you to take all of downstairs, which is the basement floor, and this includes Ed and The Count in room 1; Beth, Mokey and Red in room 3; and Kathy, Prairie and Gaffer in room 6.
Rosita: Okay. Oh, I just love Valentines Day...
Rosita: I'm so glad Ryan is back at the dorms.
Big Bird: Me too. It was nice having Mr. Clifford visit us though.
Snuffy: Yeah.
Bry: Hey, is Kathy still sick.
Rosita: Yeah, I think so. I also heard that Kyle is sick too.
Snuffy: Oh dear.
Bry: We should add something a little extra...
Bry: Well, almost time for class. I'll see you guys later! (leaves)
Rosita: Oh no! Kathy is still really sick.
Telly: Still?
Clifford: Man, a lot of sickness going around lately.
Rosita: I think I will go out to the garden and pick some pretty flowers for her. Hasta luego! (Leaves)...
I thought this commercial was cute, but in some of the scenes (the kayaking for example) he looked a bit ridiculous, but I think that was the point. He looked so silly in that river.:)
I am hoping that Muppets Tonight will be released on DVD sometime because my memory of the show is very fuzzy and I am not very familiar with some of the characters that were introduced on it (with the exception of Clifford, Pepe, Sal, and Johnny). Therefore, I don't really know Bill the Bubble...
I just had a thought...wouldn't it be interesting to see the Muppets take on Shakespeare? It would be fun to see their take on it. What do you think? What would you like to see?
