Oh boy. A Simpsons movie.
I think that there should be sly references in the film to "The Itchy & Scratchy Movie". You know- "You could tell who everyone was! And Michael Jackson and Brad Pitt! It was awesome, Bart!"
(rings doorbell)
Hi! Mr. Moppet? I need to speak to you for a minute or two here. I come from the census bureau, and I need to ask you your opinions on the current state of the world. Global warming? Nuclear war? Bush? A POSSIBLE RESURGENCE OF DAN QUAYLE? THE UNABOMBER? POISONOUS COFFEE? A...
A few more, and these are NOT in order.
11. Whose Line Is It Anyway?
12. Who's The Boss?
13. Just For Laughs
14. Mythbusters (really belonged on my first list)
15. Daily Planet
16. How It's Made
17. I Love Lucy
18. The Munsters (ever notice how people in bars laugh like Herman?)
19...
Kimp! My man! I thought that I was really obsessed with this forum! Now I see I'm not alone...
What can you say to something like that? "Well, great job, man. When you gonna get to 2000?" You can't really say anything!
Well, I'll give ya this: nice one.
I came THISCLOSE to going, but my exams sprung up on me. Oh well. Two of my local comics shop (Third Eye Blind especially, Strange Adventures less so) usually have an exclusive or two lying around!
No time to do a full list of 50, so here's my shortlist (and these are in order):
1. Seinfeld
2. Eerie, Indiana
3. Penn & Teller: BS!
4. TMS
5. MacGyver
6. Get Smart
7. The Monkees
8. The Cosby Show
9. Good Eats
10. Saved By The Bell
Right on both counts. I loved John's Angel Marie in MWoO. Funniest line in the movie was the "topped it off with a hose" bit.
I so do love Bobo. I have a hard time choosing which Bill character I like best- Bobo? Johnny? Pepe? Zippity-Zap? Hmmm...
Have to say a tie between Bobo & Johnny.
Regarding the Raquel episode: at the very beginning, Scooter comes into her dressing room. She's in there practising Shakespeare- says she wants to "change her image." Scooter says "Well, OK, we'll be supportive. No one on this show is gonna tell you to dress up in scanty outfits and do dances!"...
I do think that Davy Jones is great, but he's not my favorite Monkee by a long shot. That honor is reserved for Mike Nesmith.
Oh, and I've got one that can top all yours. My aunt used to date Peter Tork!
Yeah! I haven't read Wonderland in a while, so I honestly couldn't remember what the White Rabbit's role size is. In that case, Pepe is perfect.
However, I just realized a more obvious choice for the Cat: Teeth. That smile is a killer!
Oh, and Kimp: sorry to tell ya, but Rowlf is not...
(sound of a 13-year-old screaming in agony and then hitting the floor writhing in pain) NOT LAMB CHOP! NOOOOO!
Actually, when I was young I watched that show quite a bit too.
A quick check on an online converter reveals that you're just about right- 59 degrees F to be exact. You're at 21 degrees Celsius right now. Lucky dog!
Y'all are bloody lucky. Here today we were 15 degrees, cloudy and foggy. (If I'm confusing you with my temperatures, it's mutual. I have no idea whatsoever how the Fahrenheit scale compares to Celsius except for the freezing point of water and that -40 degree thing.)
