You got it, man. Too many people ignore truly great and talented people like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Penn & Teller and (for that matter) the Muppets so they can get their fill of flash-in-the-pan news from 'Star' magazine. I'm not like that, never have been and never will be.
If this idiot...
BEE- youtiful day here in Halifax! This especially works today, what with it being my last day of exams and all. High of 22, highest it's been here in a while.
Breakfast today was a few strips of bacon and (no surprise here) iced tea.
Believe it or not, that's where it came from. I've a complete set of the Sesame Street Library and so that particular Lefty story is one that's ingrained in my head. I didn't know where it came from at the time, but I do now! Thanks, Ed!

Cop: Breaker! Mayday! Mayday! This dog just threw some darned papers all over my window! I can't see where I'm (WHUMP.) ...
I just hit a tree! Help me out here! Calling in for backup on Highway 109!

CJ: I agree with you pretty much 100%. I forgot to put the 'overexposure' deal in my post. And I hate Baby Bear more than I hate Elmo, but unfortunately, I cannot blame Baby Bear for the practical demise of Sesame Street. I also agree with your theory about the songs. "Air" sung by Bip...
Here I am again- "It is I, your weirdo little friend That Announcer." As you know I'm survey obsessed, and so I was wondering: What is your favorite Muppet DVD?
Mine is MTI. I really, really hate the pan-and-scan transfer, but it's made up for by all the wonderful extras- especially the Brian...

Cop: Breaker breaker, situation 476. Looks like we have an underage driver and a dog in a car here in front of me, Ed. I'll pursue them. Looks like... license plate... hold on a sec here... OK. HAR 619. Roger. (clicks off CB)
Well. Looks like we got our-selves a car chase!
Yes, that's the guy, Ed! I haven't seen him in a while, so I forgot his name. He's my favorite and my father's favorite. We make jokes about him all the time.
"Psst, kid... ya want to buy an O?"
"Gee, all I have are these eggs!"
"I'll make ya a deal. The O for the eggs."
"OK!"
(goes home)...
As we all know, few on this forum like Elmo (myself included.) So why do we all hate him? Well, I have a theory.
One reason is his voice. The rest of the Muppets have fairly normal, pleasant-to-hear voices. Elmo has this screechy, whiny tone that goes straight down your spine. Baby Bear...
Pedestrian script, bad acting, sub-par plot that's full of holes, tons of continuity and scenic errors, non-existent romantic plot that's wedged in with a crowbar, idiotic main characters and the total lack of comedy.
