That is so funny because I have been on a Shari Lewis/Lamb Chop kick lately! I absolutely love Shari's work and respect her so greatly. What a great woman. I've been trying to find as much stuff on her as I can (videos, music, anything!) I love her!
I would love to see that D'Snowth! Actually, I had plans of doing a very similar project when I thought the Sesame Street figures were going to be released. I was going to dress it up for the seasons and set up my ipod mini speakers by it to play music. Well...maybe one of these days I can...
Caught that episode again today. Interesting how she talks about how wonderful it was for SS to introduce Linda's character and what a positive part she was, yet...where is Linda today? Kinda sad. We don't know all the details as to why she isn't on the show anymore, but let's just hope it...
Funny how well you know us when writing these stories. I mean, with the presents, you match us up with just the right thing. Kathy's Garfield set, Kyle's Muppet song book, Dee's CD, my classic Sesame, even a cue card penguin robot for Ryan. That last one tickled me as you know what a fan I am...
YAY!!! That was a fun one!:excited:
And boy, do you know how to shop or what! I love love LOVE my classic SS tapes and gotta love the Carroll Spinney pic.
It kinda seems that way, but it is actually about the right time now for them to graduate high school. Remember that Maria and Luis were married in 1988 and Gabby was born soon after (probably the next year). So that makes Gabby about 18 years old.
And I agree with you about Abby. She is...
I must agree with you here. I have been kinda disappointed in the Count's role lately. All he does is the Number of the Day segment and it is basically the same thing every time. I'd like to see him out on the street with the rest of the gang again. Same with Prairie Dawn. She's been kinda...
Yeah, they could. They may even go to a college in New York that is close enough to still allow time on Sesame Street. I mean, their families live their after all. I think that those two characters will become very instrumental in the future of the show also. In the whole history of Sesame...
Alan Muroaka continues to be one of my favorite cast members and I'm excited to see that he is getting more great stuff this season. He really is so great for this show and a perfect proprietor for Hooper's Store. I think he will be around for a while. If you read the end of his bio on the...
Also, just because they are still doing the healthy foods thing doesn't mean they aren't "back to basics". I think they will be sticking to doing those bits for a while now and I really don't think it's so much a bad thing. The whole reason for Sesame Street's new healthy foods campaign is in...
Hey, no problem! You know, when it comes to hunting down things Sesame Street, you can count on me!
By the way, Ed, I think that the Scramalot bit is meant to parody the recent Monty Python's Spamalot on Broadway, whereas Grouchalot was probably more a parody of Camelot.
Anyone ever listen to it on the Sesame Workshop website? It's a lot like Muppet Central Radio only it is easier to access and it's free!! Great songs!!
Look at the episode numbers. I don't think that is all the episodes for the season. They probably just don't want to give it ALL away right now. Just a few little highlights. Again, it's a sneak peak. Just think of it like that.
Also, if you watch the first clip of Abby first meeting...
No problem. I got really excited! The thing about Hooper's Store being redesigned, i think they were referring to when it was redesigned before when Alan first moved in.
Hoots: Woo! That was smokin'. Okay, everybody! Take five!
Cookie: (holding up a number 5) Where shall me take it?
Everyone: Cookie!
Cookie: Ha ha ha!
Hoots: Well, on that note--
(is interupted by Birdelli blowin a G note on his horn and, oddly enough, an animated G floats out)...
