This was a pretty funny flic. Only wish the lighting would have been a bit better for ya. Most of the video just seemed so dark that you couldn't see the facial expressions of Timmy well at all. It was more of a shadow puppet. (maybe that was what you were going for) What I could see and hear...

EEWWwww That would make your puppets smell like a butt. I wouldn't recommend doing that. Foam price has gone up a bit but not so much that I'd recycle someones couch.

Sorry to bust that bubble. The blocks are made of regular ol' upholstery foam not reticulated foam. I don't believe you'd get a block of that stuff for 11 bucks anywhere, even at Walmart. Still its good stuff to work with. I've not found reticulated foam any thicker than 1/2". If anyone knows...

Actually thats what I have. There is a section of wall in the back of my shop that has a spray booth venting outside but it sucks all the hot air out with the fumes. It's really hard to glue in the cold. :cry: I'm freezing my nose off here!:o

Well not exactly what I was looking for. I need more of a strand than a whole feather. (If that makes any sence)

Does anyone have a link to ostrich feathers that are not in a boa? Actually I need feathers in boas and also not in boas. I've seen lots of long ostrich feathers that people have used for a tuft of hair for monsters. They flow very nicely. I can't seem to find it anywhere in the archives.

I use Gaffers( not sure if thats spelled right)tape for the hinge but cover that in fabric on both sides.

That is a great puppet! I have Bob Monster you sold to me on E-Bay which was a great deal.(maybe too good) I just had to bid on this one.

Considering that the fumes are very flamable do I need to have a fan with the motor off to the side so as not to blow up my workshop?:o

How do you that have workshops heat them in the winter so as to still vent the fumes of contact cement out of harms way?

Thank you to everyone for the ideas and direction in trying to get in touch with Dave P. I just found that ring in an unmarked box. After the fire we had to pack quickly so many things got stuffed in boxes that didn't really go together. Let me tell you...this whole thing has been a :eek...

Has Dave Pannabecker completely closed up shop? I can't find a single site with anything current of his on it. Even where you use to be able to get the kits is closed. I bought the kit and videos about a year ago and one of the polly tube rings has become missing. possible it was lost in the...
