I agree, Marky, that Eric's Piggy voice is great, but I am not too thrilled with the overall personality and characterization right now. She seems to have lost all her sweetness and vulnerability which made Miss Piggy so likable when Frank Oz performed her. People rooted for her. I really...
Grover: (In the reading room with a story) Oh, hello, Ryan! What a nice day for a story, is it not? You know what else I love about today?
Telly: What?...
Bry: Thanks, Count! By the way, I just watched Don't Eat the Pictures and was sad that you weren't onscreen more. You just don't get the recognition you deserve, my caped counting friend. Anyhow...Well, whatever Ed needs, I'll be around...
I couldn't find a thread about this, so I thought I would start one.
I just rented and watched Don't Eat the Pictures (Sesame Street visits the Metropolitan Museum of Art) the other day. I am not sure if I had seen it before or not as I didn't remember anything about it, so it felt as if I...
Bry: It sure was nice having Rosita stay with us last week.
Big Bird: Oh yeah. It's always good to see her. I miss having her around sometimes.
Bry: Rosita is such a warm and spirited monster and I think she's a great roomie for Kathy. She really needs that right now. They all seem to...
Grover: I wonder when Ed is going to have the Dorms decorated for Halloween.
Herry: Last year was so cool.
Bry: Yeah. Hey, we should start thinking about what we're gonna dress up as this year.
Big Bird: Hey, do you think Kyle will do our pictures again this time?
Grover: I do not...
Since this is a thread about the Count, may I ask a few questions that have been on my mind lately? I think it is safe to say that (atleast by now) The Count is considered to be a pretty major Sesame Street character. He is very well-known and pretty popular. How come his presence in a lot of...
(Gaffer jumps into the room through the window)
Bry: Gaffer, what are you doing here?
Gaffer: Meow.
Bry: Don't you know Kathy's back?
Gaffer: Meow?
Bry: Yeah, I sent Rosita and Prairie back downstairs hours ago. Come on. (picks up Gaffer and sets her down in the hallway) Go along...
Telly: Wow! I got some great things for my birthday! There's a triangle puzzle from Ryan, a triangle frisbee from Peter, and a boinging counter for my pogostick from Christy...
Bry: You mean other than the one the lives downstairs?
Big Bird: Haha!
Telly: There's some great things from...
You're never too old to dress up for Halloween! That's the problem with the world today (well...one of them)--Not enough "grown ups" having good wholesome fun. Trick-or-Treating, that's a different story. If you're over 20, it's just odd.
(at football game)
Ernie: (fumbles the ball and falls)
Bert: (from stands) ERNIE ARE YOU OKAY?!
Ernie: I'm fine, Bert!
Bert: JUST CHECKING!
Bry: You really care a lot, don't you.
Bert: It's hard to watch such a brutal game. I don't want to see anyone get hurt. Especially my...
Bry: (going by Lisa's room) Hey, Lisa! Congrats on getting your licence. If you ever need to barrow a car...
Bert: Umm, Bryan? She just got her licence.
Bry: Oh, umm...if you ever need to barrow a car...take Kyle's. Bye!
Bry: I guess Telly was so tired from his birthday dinner last night that he fell asleep without opening any of his presents.
Big Bird: (laughs) Well, he can always do that today or anytime.
Bert: I just hope he will like what I got him.
Ernie: (in uniform) Okay, time to go to the bus for...
Bry: (On the phone with Dr. Teeth) Are you sure it's okay. You're not going anywhere? Oh I see...you haven't driven it since the seventies. You're kidding! Thanks, Doc! Bye! (hangs up) Okay, it's time to go out for dinner! I'm gonna go warm up the bus.
Ernie: Bus?
Bry: Oh, yeah...
I think this may be where I draw the line and say I don't consider this Muppets and will not ever. Yeah...I said it. Doesn't mean I would never consider seeing this, as long as I know that it has nothing to do with the name JIM Henson and The Muppet brand.
