Tale Spin has songs sometimes, as did some of the other Disney Afternoon shows, but it wasn't a regular occurance. Animaniacs had songs as a regular part of their show.

I've always been a fan of the Hanna-Barbara cartoons. They were classic and a big part of my growing up in the 80s. I have a couple of huge books dedicated to the Hanna-Barbara creations.

Also, just to point out a few things...I'm not sure that using Disney's ownership is reason to not like the Muppets.
