I love FTT. It's great, and chock full o'80s stars. I bought the old DVD set a few years ago, and it is really quite poorly done, but I do enjoy having the whole series! The new set looks great, but I can't justify spending the money for it when I already have them.
I think my favorite is "The...
Same here. It is a great song and a great character moment, but I think it is deflated by the staging. But if Jim and co. knew then what they knew later about Piggy, they'd probably have done the number differently.

It is so hard to choose a favorite Christmas menu! They are all so beautiful. Thank you so much for all of your work to make our Christmas that much merrier and Muppetier!

An interesting tidbit I thought I'd add... it turns out that that poem was not written by Poe after all. In fact, it was written specifically for TMS. I've read that many people think it is an Edgar Allen Poe poem when they first see the sketch (I know I did!). In fact, it was written by Jerry...
I'm on board, too. I just commented in another thread how much I like Mildred, too. It's weird how the first season had such strong female characters in Mildred, Hilda, Piggy, Janice, and even Zelda Rose, but that number was reduced by half in the next season. Sure, we eventually got Annie Sue...
I couldn't agree more! I was introduced to her in the TMS Season 1 set, and I just fell in love with her. I think the Muppets definitely could use her these days. She was one of the first characters to really have a defined personality and like you say, the puppet is beautiful.
