Hey
I recently have been on the Hunt to complete my small collection (i only own BB n Cookie) of Sesame Street Tara action figures.
I'm aware of-
Big bird
Cookie
Bert
Ernie
Oscar
Grover
But i can't find any images on grover. I have no idea what he looks like other then the fact...
wow!
i did the same thing.. however i used a rain jacket instead of making one or buying a denium one.
Really awsome.
I made mine so that i could operate Oscar's head and arm, as well as operate Bruno's mouth. In this pic it doesn't look like you allowed for Bruno to talk.
But yours...
thanks for the tips :)
didnt think of either of those, however i did think of using styro-foam shaped eggs and cover with fabric. Then thought that would be to heavy so i was going to go with just fabric and stuffing.
actually right now my issue is foam shaped noses. can't find much on those at all.
also.. maybe a section with list of stores each state has that sell foam. obviusly if anyone in the state knows of any, we could send you the store's info so it can help out the next person who needs info
i use cereal box cardboard. its thin and hard enough where you can't tell theres fingers operating the mouth. ALSO... i use felt on the inside to stop it from tearing away due to friction or sweat... mine haven't fallen apart yet
ravagefrackle, i had no idea you've done work with them before... thats amazing! Congrats! I'm now jealous of you lol
I've seen this skit awhile ago and I thought it was done very well actually and found it filmed very well for a college humor video. Not a big fan of drugs at all... so i...
i asked awhile ago in the puppeteer's resource
I'm woundering does someone have a working site that sells noses or how to make specific noses? I'm interested in the Grover, Bert, Homer Honker eggish looking foam balls. I'd imagin that i'd have to carve it myself, which would be a pain...
have the puppet holding battery charger clamps in his hands... and tell the kids "if you're going to hurt me, i'll show you what these can do"
i've had the same problem.. and its hard to yell at them because you're there for them in the first place and you told them they can touch lol. But...
as for FEATURE films... Elmo in Grouchland and Follow that bird are the only ones.
However, like you listed... there are made for TV/DVD movies.
Big Bird in China (i loved this as a kid n still do)
Big Bird in Japan
Cinderelmo
Abby in Wonderland (really recent... made last summer)...
i suggest this thread be remade... if possible... maybe a mod can erase the first post and have a colaberation of all tips and ideas... which would make it easier for someone like me looking for something and having to look in all these pages, to not find what i wanted...
ALSO... the first...
like i mentioned before in this thread... learning about letters. Its a dvd remake of the pre 90s VHS tape. It was made from either a special in the 80s i believe... so yes, Kermit is on it. Its more for a child, however its classic SS... n technicly speaking, SS is for children lol
thats really awesome! It kind of seems like the kids were limited to yellow skin with their creations. Which most likely restricted their imagination... unless the course was about making human puppets. But i dunno.. i wasn't there. But they all did a great job! I wish i had some of that...
lol if you want to go the cheap route... Radio Shack sells a mic for $25... its wired... but you can rig your own head set and clip the mic onto it.
Cheap and effective
