I'm a little concerned that this thread could breach the forum rules on "respect". Though I am sure Wembleyfraggle didn't intend it to.
I meanwhile some of the muppeteers might not mind if fans knew whether they were on Facebook, it's also possible that some of them might see it as an intrusion...

The London production of Oliver! at Drury Lane has recently relaunched their website, it now includes official video footage of the show. See: http://www.oliverthemusical.com/video/ (Choose the filmed highlights one).
Some of you might want to check it out. See if you can spot Louise Gold in...
Oh gosh there are just so many....
From Sesame Street my favourite just has to be Herry Monster. (Since he sang one of the my favourite Sesame numbers, that duet with Louisey).
As for The Muppet Show.
Well I think top choice I gotta go for Cowboy Jerry (some call him Slim Wilson), again...
Jerry,
Of course we're interested. Well some of us, anyway.
Please do let us know when the album is available. There's all kinds of music out there. And I'm guessing you probably have good taste in music.
Best Wishes

"Light will make it bright..."
Although Louise Gold is English, she does happen to have a gift for accents, including different American ones.
I was once told, by a US linguist (at Berkley, California) that when it comes to a Brooklyn accent for example she's "letter perfect".
Wow! what a terrific episode.
I've added a review of it on: http://www.qsulis.demon.co.uk/Website_Louise_Gold/Transmission_Impossible_Review.htm
I throughly enjoyed and, and please keep on updating us about those wonderful termites.
Absolutely, and she also spends a lot of time on her career as a singer-actress in the big West End mega musicals. (at least four in the last ten years), and currently in Oliver! at Drury Lane.
Puppeteering wise most of her Henson work was usually on their UK projects (with the exception of...
I do think the Termites are just brilliant. I know I've said that before.
I've been updating my fansite about Louise Gold, to make sure the termites get a good mention, see: http://www.qsulis.demon.co.uk/Website_Louise_Gold/Transmission_Impossible.htm and...
I've finally got round to creating a little fanpage devoted to those termites, (well actually a section of my site about Louise Gold), see: http://www.qsulis.demon.co.uk/Website_Louise_Gold/Transmission_Impossible.htm
Best Wishes

Well Louise Gold's agent is still Gavin Barker Associates 9see: http://www.gavinbarkerassociates.co.uk/index.htm
If that's any help. Writing to performers c/o their agent can work.
That's fantastic news.
I watched the bit from Episode 5. A good double act.
And nice to see Louise doing the kind of performance she does best too.
Are these two characters (the termites) going to appear in other episodes?

Hmm, earlier today a The Theatrical Guild's 'Shopping With The Stars' event, I noticed that one of the 'Stars' taking part was wearing a Kermit The Frog watch. I wonder if that was connected to it being today of all days.
Oh gosh, I didn't realise it was today.
It makes the event I attended today a little extra poingent.
I went to a fundraising event (at my favourite showbiz shop) in aid of The Theatrical Guild. - More about that later, but during the last hour especially there was an extra burst of energy...
TMS was filmed at Elstree Studios in London (in Britain), and so when Erin left they decided to have a UK puppeteer as Erin's replacement. And that was why they got Louise Gold on the team.
I don't think it would have been her. From what I've read and heard, she's nearly always been actress as well as puppeteer.
I certainly recall reading somewhere that she left Spitting Image because she didn't want go back to being a "full time puppeteer". Ok that wasn't a Henson production...
Well as far as named characters go 9the ones you can hear on the album) she is playing Mrs Sowerberry, and, Mrs Bedwin.
However, in the show itself, as well as those two parts she also has some wonderful bit-parts in the ensemble. If you want the full details (or at least as much as I could...
I don't know if anyone else has got the new Cast Album for the musical Oliver! yet, and if so whether you've heard it.
But it's certainly an interesting one.
Rowan Atkinson is different to Ron Moody, and 'You've Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two' is recognisably him. But to hear his 'Reviewing The...
