Oh, gosh!what a wonderful surprise!...thank you. Coffee and dessert later on in our room for anyone who wants to come. I also have some souveniers to give out!
Bry:(opening room 29 and pulling loads of luggage behind him. Drained from so much travelling, the jet-lagged tourist plops down on his bed for a long nap.)
Well, everyone, I am finally back home and completed my national tour. I know I haven't updated the Postcards thread for a while, but I promise I will tell the rest of the travelling tales soon.
Right now I'd like to make a very special announcment, however. I am now engaged to be married...
(calling) hey, guys! Well, the tour is officially over. We had our closing show last night. I won't actually be back home for another week though as I'm taking my girlfriend on a trip to disney world. I trust those of u who are looking after my roomies to continue til I get back. Thanks so...
Bry: (coming in after a long day) Boy what a day!
Ernie: Hey, Bryan! How was it?
Bert: Yeah, tell us about the wedding!
Bry: Oh it was really a lovely ceremony. I'm really happy for my brother and his new wife. You could tell they truly love each other.
Ernie: How did you do?
Bry...
Bry: Hey, Ed. Lunch sounds good. Big Bird has Birdkateers in the garden today and Bert and Ernie ran off somewhere, but I think Telly would be interested in tagging along. I'll go get him and meet you in the lobby.
Telly: (zips in) I'm ready!
Bry: Oh...well, then let's go!
Bry: (coming into the room exhausted) Hey, guys.
Ernie: (doing some writing) Hi there, Bryan!
Bert: (already in his pajamas and reading in his chair) Hello.
Ernie: Where've you been?
Bry: Oh, a friend of mine at home had a birthday and we were celebrating today. How was the campaign...
That is a silly question, but a good one! I did have a rubber duckie and I don't know if I constantly sang the song, but I wouldn't doubt I did at one point or another. I loved taking bubble baths as a kid. Or "tubbies" as I called them (just like Ernie does). I loved it so much I never...
Bry: Okay. Thanks, Kyle. I hope you don't mind watching him some more when I have to go back to Florida. Bye, guys! Thanks for having lunch with me. Now, I wonder if my feathery friend is around yet. (passes by common room and sees Oscar's can) Hmm... (walks over to can and knocks) Oscar...
I hope you know I'm just teasing you with all this. I guess I just don't understand when people blame the character for being used so much and by saying that just because Elmo is overused that is grounds for him to be full of himself and demand attention away from the others. Besides, even...
Okay...so it's not really that Elmo is self-centered. It's more the fact that he is in the forground a lot and people are upset by that. Kinda like how Big Bird used to be. I guess that makes him self-centered too, right? ;)
Ernie: We're here! We're here!
Bert: Came over as soon as we heard.
Telly: (carrying his instruments) I even brought my tuba aaaand my triangle. Hehe!
Ernie: I would have brought my drums, but it would have been too much for me to carry.
Bert: You mean too much for me to carry...
(Cell phone rings)
Bry: (answering) Hello? Uh...sure. (to Ernie) It's for you.
Ernie: Oh, okay. (takes phone) Hello? Oh, hi, Grover. We'll be right there. Bye. (hangs up) Come on, guys. We've got a job to do.
Bert: What's going on?
Ernie: Hoots is missing his band and he needs...
