I really liked how many characters were included, especially near the end as they are building the pyramid: Uncle Deadly, Beautiful Day, Crazy Harry, etc. The transitions between characters was really cool at the beginning, making for a very cohesive video linking the Muppets with OK Go!
I agree! I was so happy to see P&F and The Muppets together! It put Miss Piggy in a great place. Now that the first commercial has been played on P&F: Across the 2nd Dimension and now this, it seems like Disney is really hitting the right audience (kids and adults).
I'm curious why "Our World" is included on this album. I think it's a fantastic song, but it seems like an odd choice for this album. Any insight into this?
It was during the first half hour of the premiere. Here's a brief synopsis:
Narrator (over the corresponding text): What's green . . . and blue . . . and pink, and orange, and yellow? Has 52 arms, 52 legs, and 26 heads? It's a frog, a pig, a bear, a dog, and a weirdo. It's The Muppets in their...
I just finished watching Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension and there was the first commercial for The Muppets!
It was quite incredible to see a brand new commercial featuring some footage we've seen in the trailers and some new footage.
I'm glad they chose to air it during...
From what I've seen so far, everyone has put in a lot of work for their designs. A number of the designs deserve to win, but alas, that will not be the case.
I fear my confidence in my design(s) has faded since the contest switched to the new blind voting. There are those folks who are...
The voting is winding down to the final days. Sadly, my designs have not made it to the popular page, but I have some faith in myself. I truly hope my love for the Muppets shows through my art. To check them out again, see below:

I submitted my design about a week ago. It was doing well in the first few days. Any "5" votes are appreciated.
I've been a long time muppet artist, but I've never taken the time to really submit work anywhere. This was the little extra oomph I needed to make that happen.
Vote here...
Those of you who remember the short lived "The Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess" will be pleased to know that both short seasons are available on Netflix instant watch!
I always thought the visual style of Dr. Suess was perfectly represented by this show. And I remember reading in a book about...
Thanks!
Your friendly sea serpent host will continue to be your number one source for entertainment (well, perhaps number 132 source, but we sure would like to be your number one!).
Keep watching! The more you watch, the more new episodes ans skits will pop up!
Best fishes,
Stan McGavin
This has always been one of my favorite sketches on the Muppet Show. Even when I was little, I was obsessed with it. It's definitely one sketch I share with anyone who isn't already a fan of the Muppets.
Hey everyone!
I, Stan McGavin, have been putting on a little show that can be watched on youtube. I hear that's the place for nonsensical videos and music. I think that sounds just about right for our show!
Check it out, but be prepared for inspired silliness, bizarre sketches, and...
Hey everyone,
I thought I would post a link to my newest video. I was trying out some new smaller characters and still exploring photoshop's capabilities with premiere!
Take a gander at the Stan McGavin Show's Valentines special clip.
Enoy! :p

This was an experiment to combine photoshop work with adobe premiere to see how they can be used to make a better looking video.
Hope you enjoy! :)
Rosita, from Sesame Street, was in Chicago today for a press conference that took place this morning. It was for PNC, whose funding a preschool program initiative at the Shedd Aquarium (where I work) and Adler Planetarium.
It was pretty awesome. :insatiable:
I have to agree with the analysis of people immediately associating the word Muppet with Muppet Babies and Sesame Street. This does seem to get some rather interesting reactions.
I, for one, have a habit of saying, "Yes, I'm a Muppet Fan. But it's not limited to the Muppets you see on Sesame...
A recent example of the "nostalgia factor" with the Muppets is evident in a little test I did with my summer camp kids this week.
We did an activity where we made a toad abode and I decided to play the PSA from Disney Channel with Kermit the Frog and Selena Gomez.
When I started the...
When I used to work for Hallmark, this was one of the most exciting things! The training DVD's for the ornaments always had neat segments about the creation of pieces like this. I remember when Statler and Waldorf came out and how cool it was to hear how the piece was sculpted.
I happened across a "White Tux Rowlf" a few years ago and got him for a very low price.
Same thing for "Dream Date Gonzo" and many of the convention of exclusives. There were not terribly expensive from what I recall.
Though I would love to get a Fraggle prototype or even the fully...
