Ernie: Dr. Bob wasn't in.
Bry: That's okay. My head is feeling a little better. Although still ringing a bit from hearing Fiama's whining outside. What a diva he is. Thanks for caring, guys. You're great. Anyway...it's late. Goodnight, Ernie.
Ernie: Goodnight.
Bry: ooww...
Ernie: bryan, are you ready for the barbecue?
Bert: (sees me lying on the couch holding my head) Are you okay?
Bry: I just banged my head really hard on the top of the fireplace. Ouch!
Ernie: were you looking for Santa again in the middle of June?
Bert: ernie, no jokes...
Gosh, I didn't know anything about your mother but I have you in my thoughts and prayers. It's nice to know you and I wish you the happiest of birthdays.
Yes, that is true, Ed. I was the one who said the info about SS taping one month out of the year. They told me that when I visitted the Kaufman Astoria Studios a couple months ago. However, maybe they film other bits and pieces elsewhere. That is just where the main set is. So who knows. I...
All: We can't help singing la-de-da-de-dum
Loud and clear and strong
Bryan's Room: But, la-de-da-de-dum
Ed's Room: La-de-da-de-dum
Beth's Room: La-de-da-de-dum
Kyle's Room: La-de-da-de-dum
All 4 Rooms: Laaaaaaa
Telly: What's the name of that song?
(In Big Bird's Nest)
Big Bird: La-de-da-de-dum, la-de-da-de-dum
Bry: Something shining above
Big Bird: la-de-da-de-dum, la-de-da-de-dum
Gladys the Cow: (pops up randomly and sings operatically) La-de-da-de-da-LOVE!
Bry: What the--?
(walking down the hall)
Bert: (singing to himself) La de-da de-dum, La de-da de-dum, What's the name of that song?...
Ernie: Have we ever figured that out?
Bert: No.
Honestly? They all do in my opinion. Sure some have more technique than others, but they have all shined. Here's my list of when each is at their best:
Jim Henson--anytime Ernie sings a ballad.
Frank Oz--Miss Piggy (obviously)
Jerry Nelson--probably one of the better vocalists. I always...
(calling Ed) You know we can always make room for Prairie and Rosita. It's no trouble. This may be a busy week for me as it is though, so maybe you should take them.
Good question. I've been looking to find a way to convert audio tape into CD. I have so many old Sesame Street tapes from when I was a kid with songs on them that aren't found on CD releases today.
(Ernie strolls in and the rest of us are watching TV)
Bry: So what's up?
Ernie: Oh, a bunch of people went to Oblivion.
Bert: Sounds like an interesting tourist destination. How do you get there?
Ernie: Down a hole, I guess.
Telly: If it's anything like Grouchland, I've been there...
Bry: Hi, we're your neighbors across the hall in room #29. We just wanted to welcome you to the Muppet Dorms. Zoot? Janice, Lips? What a surprise! How nice to see you back again!
Ernie: So that was that loud music I heard from the tubby this morning.
Bry: And you must be Maddy...
(All admiring their work)
Bry: Well, what do you think, guys?
Bert: Hunky dory!
Ernie: Yeah, it looks good.
Bry: Should we take it over there now?
Roomies: Yeah!
Snuffy: I have to get back home to my cave now for dinner. I'll see ya later though!
Big Bird: Okay. Bye, Snuffy...
(ooc: Uuh...Ed, me and the guys wrote a birthday song for him and sang it last night. Actually, we're the only one's that did anything for him on his birthday.)
